  That has not at all been established. It doesn't even begin to describe reality or any theory or hypothesis. It sounds like you are mixing up string theory and wave functions from quantum mechanics.

  Maybe I will read physics, but I avoid waffling about stuff I don't have knowledge of.

  I highly recommend you start with "Why Does E = MC^2" by Brian Cox. He does a great job of breaking it down simply and when I read it, it's all in his sexy, sexy, sexy voice. But that probably won't help you, though.

  I believe you are describing the video and your responses to actual information. In any event, take it back to your thread, please, and don't derail this one. Sharks are amazing and I was hoping to learn more!

  I am not as up to speed on the life sciences as Snare and Cofty and love their posts. I've started several books on their recommendations.

  Why is it that people who are self-admittedly ignorant of a subject are those that accuse people who are educated on being elitist or not open to new ideas? It betrays not only ignorance of a subject, but also of a key component of the scientific method. I just don't get the wilingness, almost eagerness, to be critical of ideas and topics you know you are ignorant of.
