Did I say that Pumpkin?
Maybe I have amnesia.
Did I ever say you did?
so i was fooled by the witnesses.
what can i learn from that?
not to accept things at face value but to seek out opinion and different view points.. hence my question " do you believe man landed on the moon?.

Suffice to say, that since that time our abilities to simulate other things could make the historical record and simulations more blurry. Perhaps all our recorded history was really concocted in studios - including old newsreels.
How is that "suffice to say"?
What could be going on with the spacecraft and its crew when every other hour it is lost from contact behind the moon?
What could be going on with aliens kidnapping you while you're unconscious for several hours every night? I'm just asking questions.
so i was fooled by the witnesses.

Apollo had its roots in a Kennedy speech in September of1962, to land a man on the moon in a decade.
It was actually conceived of and planning began in 1960 during the Eisenhower administration.
After all, their signals were repeatedly lost for nearly an hour!
Yes they were. Often expectedly so.

The implication made many pages ago via the "I'm just asking questions" fallacy was that Apollo was implemented to distract from Vietnam and that there was money flowing into NASA to keep it going to that end.
You've shown that two important things were going on at the same time and that Americans can't, in general, hold more than one thing in their head at a time, which no one has ever denied.
so i was fooled by the witnesses.

It was a distraction from everything, it was the high point of a tumultuous decade. Even though I was not there, I think it would be naive to say it didn't do some reuniting and morale boosting for 'Merica.
If only there were some way to look at see what public opinion was at the time of the space race, when it started, etc.

I clearly stated in my O.P I was 50/50. Basically because I hadn't done any real research on the subject. That's why I bought the debate up to learn. Personally I think not questioning things and blindly accepting as fact what we are told is naive.
So decided it's 50/50 while having zero information is somehow a good thing?
I don't think so. Questioning required the knowledge and effort to form a question. There is such a thing as a dumb question.
Anyway regardless of if man landed on the moon or not, as I said on another post personally I would rather the money had been spent feeding and clothing the poor of the world, which would have been paid for many times over if we didn't waste so much money on exploring outer space, nuclear weapons and defence.
Anyone agree/ disagree?
First, it could have paid for many things for the poor, not would have paid for things for the poor. Second, NASA didn't develop nuclear weapons, that is a false classification. Third, exploring and learning about the world us around isn't wasting money.

While you are home doing real moon research vivian pumpkin, I am freemindfade, man about town, drinking old fashioned's with gorgeous exotic blonde Ruskies
You're such a child sometimes.
i'd rather them not even question him at this point.
by allowing a video link, they put the ball 100% in his court.
i don't get what they expect to accomplish by having a video link only.. 2. he won't feel any pressure.
That is my only concern - that the video link gives him an opportunity to chicken out at any time by feigning technical difficulties.
Which means he's have to re-appear, again and again until they finally issue a summons forcing him to appear in person.
That would actually be awesome.
so i was fooled by the witnesses.

That will put the debate to bed.
Uninformed, uneducated opinion vs. fact, education on the subject, education on the science and mountains of evidence do not a debate make.
Now again I am not suggesting they are right, just presenting more of my own research into the matter
That's no more research than asking two rebel flag carrying, gun toting, tobacco chewing skinheads from Mississippi what they think of inter-racial marriage and thinking that in any way represents anything other than their own stupidity.
