  i am inclined to start this thread in response to some comments made in other threads.

  i have been coming around these forum for quite some time now so whatever you find in here is not just related to something someone may have said this week.

  it can go months back as well.. i have seen many who claim to respect the belief of others but when it comes down to applying it into practice, things take a whole different tune.

  Court of law? I've no idea what you are talking about or why such a thing would be brought up.

  However, I do apologize to Eden for the "expect" hell comment. That was out of line in every way as you said.

  The OP is about respecting others and their views. The OP (and, indeed no one here) has explained where they draw the line at at. NAMBLA? Antivaxxers? Religious parents that deny their children medical care?

  Also, as far as respect goes, people on this thread have called me names, I've been lied about multiple times, it was suggested I was cowering inside and to be pitied by the same people that are saying we should respect everyone and their idea. It kinda makes what their saying seem a disingenuous, or at the very least that their "respect" extends to the moment they decide to join on a dogpile.

  It's virtually impossible discussing anything with Viviane. She's a walking argument who adds very little of value to threads. That is unless you agree with her. Even taking a neutral stance is prohibited.

  I am sure the posters on this forum that dislike me will, for the sake of consistency and honesty, jump on this blatant instance of name calling by a poster who previously lied and quote mined me and say it's unacceptable, correct?

  After I said on a previous post that I wasn't willing to go and dig up old threads to prove my point, you resorted to sarcasm to criticize me for that, and covertly affirmed that if I truly believed in "urbanity", I should back up my point with evidence.

  I didn't "resort" to sarcasm. I'm offended by the boldness with which you so easily tell lies and make things up to suit your victim narrative. The hypocrisy you display is astounding. I used sarcasm because it was appropriate.

  I think you're proving the point of the OP.

  The OP claims we should respect all views but won't say whether or not he respects the views of NAMBLA, anti-vaxxers or religious people who let their children die rather than get medical care. It was really just an excuse to start a whining session about me, it seems.

  Don't BS this. I didn't lightly accuse you of anything. I demand that you prove proof of your BS or exect to be called on it. You made the accusations, you can 100℅ expect to reap the rewards of your posts and accusations.

  That's how it works. You say shit about me, it ain't on me to deny it. It's on you to prove it or get dogged by it on every single post you make until you do or retract it because you accused the wrong person that won't stand even for half a second for foolish and idiotic lies.

  So, post your proof, retract your comment and apologize or expect hell.

  IMHO ...the best way to frame the OP's argument is to avoid, if humanly possible, debating like Donald Trump and instead debate like Ronald Reagan.

  Ronald Reagan was fear mongering liar wholly unqualified for his job or any other that required critical thinking and objective evaluation of reality. In other words, a religious person.

  I insisted on nothing. At least try to be honest before you attempt to demean others. Otherwise, we would have to call your reputation into question and therefore dismiss every single thing you say until you provide evidence to corroborate.
  
  Since we've already seen you fallaciously suggest someone insisted on something, explain in detail why anyone should trust another word you say? You claim the truth and prove nothing but false to it. Why, in other words, should not every word you speak be treated as suspect since you've already lied and said I insisted on something? Why should we not expect you to be lying again?

  I asked a question early on that no one bothered addressing. If there is a feeling that we need to respect others beliefs, do you (assuming you feel that way about NAMBLA's beliefs? Anti-vaxxers? Religious people that believe in prayer over antibiotics or surgery to save their life or their child's life?

  Eventually, if I'd bother to go back and dig up some past threads, it wouldn't be difficult to find examples of what I've said. But I won't. You may say that I'm refusing to back up what I'm saying with "evidence", but I simply don't want to go there, it's just stirring s**t.

  Agreed. Urbanity would include thing like, oh, say, if you make accusations, being able to prove it. It's just common courtesy.

  What I find rather interesting is that most, but not all, going on about "unfairness", "insults", "objectionable posts" are the same ones that are part of a blood cult that promises to murder and torture me for eternity, that follow a book that endorses slavery, murder, genocide, rape and misogyny and will gladly tell you that you're going to hell but flip the F out if you point out that they might not know what they are talking about on a subject or don't like religion.

  The others, I find, love to be snide, rude, to tell others what to do, but if they ever feel like they've gotten a bit back, they cry for the whole forum to see how they've been abused.

  The hypocrisy is astounding.

  world news daily has a die-hard right-wing bias.

  so, in an effort to get real information, i'm asking my european exjw's, is this article all true?

  A classic example of someone using weasel words, to be sure.
