  Depends on the atheist. For me it just means I have no evidence to lead me to believe in God or anything supernatural.

  recently attended a sad.. bethel speaker was gushing about the wt's embrace of new technology, in the part of his talk warning about "apostate" web sites.. a loose summary of his comments:.

  "and the brothers at headquarters have made it very safe for you to go to our website.

  in fact, the brothers talked to the folks at google, and they made a special arrangement so that when you type in 'j w period' into the google search engine, it automatically shows you the jw.org website.

  Google is not "a" thing. It's lots of things all over the world. It's possible for two people to make the exact same request at the same time and get different results based on location, operating system browser, cookies, history, sponsors, etc. It's not a single algorithm, it's a lot of different algorithms hitting a distributed set of search engines spread all over the world. Searching something at google is not just google returning a list of things that match, it's trying to deliver the most personalized relevant results and that uses a LOT of math on every search.

  The WT has not influenced google in any way except, possibly, by buying ad space, but anyone can do that, anyone with the money to do so.

  This is such non-sense. Google results are calculated by an algorithm that is subject to influence from no one except someone's own search optimization efforts. Google will put results at top that are sponsored, meaning paid for ads, but that is not the same as doing the WT a favor.

  BOTR is a lawyer? I must have missed that in every post were she mentions she is a lawyer. Personally, I think a lawyer as prolific as she she claims to be would have better communication skills and a thicker skin, but what do I know? I am now a lawyer.

  To have a One World Secular Government (Novus Ordo Seclorum, Globalism, New World Order, One World Order), they decided to "creatively destruct" from the inside-out via infiltration (vs. a frontal assault which they save for the "less important" nations) the longstanding Christian Nations which just so happens to ALSO be the mostly-White nations (Europe, England, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, etc.).

  No, I'm not. There is no excuse for Dunn's actions, none whatsoever. Calling the kid cocky, full of testosterone, young, whatever, it matters not. He did NOTHING to Dunn. You're right, he is dead, and Dunn, because he decided he didn't like being "disrespected" because he couldn't stand music he didn't like for five minutes and had a gun, will spend the rest of his life getting anally raped and beaten in prison.

  It's the few that make the rest look bad.
