  in the bible jesus christ speaks of this particle in his parables.

  Aleon, I read your paper. First, you make a grave mistake by using the word "theory". A theory is supported by observable evidence, experiment and has predictive capability shown to be true. You have none of that.

  You also don't have a hypothesis. A hypothesis has at the very minimum fasifiability. You've provided none of that. At best, you have an undeveloped idea.

  Another problem is your use of false equivalency. You are attempting to equate your ideas with Einstein's ideas on relativity.His ideas started as hypothesis, showed predictive power and were proven by experiment and observations hundreds of times over.

  So far, you've provided your ideas with no way to verify or test them, no predictive ability, etc., and only an attempt at a false equivalency and insult to others intelligence to defend them.

  What exactly, given the facts, do you think you have?

  ..specifically, the suffering of animals.

  you can talk about free will/sin/people choosing to not listen to god etc to explain human suffering being allowed.. but how can you love a god that allows animals, that haven't sinned or chosen to not have anything to do with god, to have their short lives ended in often long, drawn out, painful ways.

  i could list stories i've read that would probably make you feel ill, but i'm not looking to shock anyone or start an emotional debate.

  I can see where you're coming from Viv. But the last chapter is going to one of peace and happiness and eternal life for people. Those people will understand the ultimate love God has for mankind.

  No, there is no "but" here. If I neglect my children, beat them, etc., it doesn't make all of that OK because I made sure to save up for their college education and buy them a car.

  I know the answers. You're just trying to weasel word your way into pretending a non-answer is an answer.

  So far you're showing how Judaism is exactly like JWs and Christianity in general. It's the pretense that ignorance is knowledge and obfuscation to hide that fact.

  How the Watchtower Screws Up Your View of Scripture

  while i do not argue the stand of atheism (because as a jew i find it totally logical and acceptable), i have noticed that there are odd carryover preconceptions about scripture that some hold as axiomatic about the bible (at least the hebrew texts), misconceptions that have nothing to do with the jewish scriptures themselves.. so regardless of what you may think of scripture, whether you believe it is of g-d or not, i thought some of you might enjoy a reference to see how much the watchtower teaching on scripture might still be influencing the conclusions you are making today...at least about the tanakh.

  jews read their texts acknowledging the following:.

  1. no scriptural concept of original sin.

  Judaism is exactly as ridiculous as any other religion. No more, no less. The main thing giving modern Judaism an extra point is that they do their thing and live and let live (for the most part, there are some wacky Jewish fundies out there also, showing that any religions has it:s wackos that can interpret it's ambiguous, morally reprehensible and silly texts in a horrible fashion).
