His body language betrays the message he is trying so hopelessly to convey...I am convinced he doesn't believe one word he is espousing. Or its total delusion although on second thoughts..if he was truly deluded would there not be more excitement and joy coming from his persona? I m o he is one of a bunch of divisive charlatans who are feeling the pressure of the more advanced investigative age and questioning of their dubious practices and whacky ever changing teachings. -

im not asking what it will mean for the jdubs or for the organization, but what will it mean for you---- if one day you wake up and the watchtower drops the 1914 doctrine.. (you know at some point they have to, but probably not our lifetime).
if you are disfellowshipped or disassociated and have been shunned by your parents, by your children, by you spouse or ex-husband/wife, for years or even less, will you call your relatives and ask/tell them;.

I tried to reason with my family after they ditched the last generation fiasco . I honestly thought they would ' see ' the ludicrousness of the nooooo light teaching..... no joy.... some shrugged like it was no big deal others were soooo glad of further understanding by the new york mafia. I think changing 1914 would have the same effect, but.. who knows until it happens. You can lead a horse to water,..but..... -

If they (jws) find happines in the belief that billions of people will be slaughtered because they have not 'lived' their governing body aka faithful discreet slave influenced idea of gods demands of submission, they deserve every attack that they have coming. I exlude however those who unfortunately especially older ones who may suffer from a health condition that would make it inappropriate to try to dissuade them as their reasoning ability is compromised... its a fine line I have to be tactful of in my own personal circumstances. -

by Aprostate Exam innow after 21 years in professional psychology/humanities, i love talking to brothers that adopt a slow pace in speech, and low tone of voice when they deal with the rank and cold un-associated ones.
my mirroring their present state in personality seems to psych them out for a bit.
i then tap into my fast injection of logical sense, that throws them off.

I've lost count of the amount of times during a conversation which is beginning to nudge into jw stuff with members of my family I have to say, " can you not just speak to me normally ". The tone of voice changes as well as the pace, the facial expression becomes almost eerie with THAT stare that says oooooohh your so worldly !!! -

The Christian God is Stupid
by berrygerry ini do not clearly understand mainstream christian ideology, but i think that wt is a variation thereof.. wt teaches that god made adam and eve perfect, but that another one of god's perfect creatures, tricked eve into disobedience, thereby condemning adam, eve, and all of their offspring into a life of misery as a result.
this is because satan out-thought god, and essentially cornered god into this "legal challenge" that god had never foreseen.. that, to me, is one stupid god..

The so called 'christian god ' as generated by the minds of ancient tribal people is a conceptual construct of both good and bad reflecting the behaviour of humans . The 'god' figure as described in ancient writings such as the genesis account was both the 'good' and 'bad' . The test of obedience (eating of fruit ) given to gods first creations would be futile if god himself ( the originator of the test) had not allowed for the testing to proceed, therefore my conclusion is it had to be god himself who played the tempter. The first creations are said to have not known evil although god is recorded as knowing both good and evil therefore any creature originating from god , so called spirit form or human who became evil could only have learned or used bad or evil because it existed as part of god if it is to be believed 'he'is the origin of everything. My conclusion is that ancient mans concept of god is merely a reflection of the human traits of good and bad played out on a grand mythical scale to offer an explanation of why we and all around us exist. Thankfully for me we live in enlightened times and personally do not require to base my life and existence on the myths of ancient ignorant people. -

I wonder what form a new paradise judicial committee will take!!!?
