IMO children should be given the opportunity to discuss all opinions .Hopefully of course they will come to a non biased conclution for themselves which scientific study concurs with

  COFTY. Not to be argumentative, but the topic subject does not mention evolution but 'creationism', which as an encompassing subject would surely take into account all aspects of how things have been' brought into being' which is the definition of to create. The pupils would surely have a right to have all understandings of the subject discussed. To avoid them saying at a future time, " i wasn't told about that ".

  COFTY .I agree evolution is fact. I was referring to the creation aspect as per topic question I.E. by what method did 'creation' begin, as defined "bring into being" It doesn't have to be an intelligence as in god, but can also be due to other forces which physicists are still trying to ascertain So as i say the topic question is not fundamentally about evolution per,se.

  I think it should be taught as part of a subject that mixes world religious with scientific reasoning. Neither should be taught as FACT, and i think the age of the pupils should be taken into account.

  today my mom called me three times at work to tell me how "worried" she was about my spirituality.. i so wanted to tell her some ttatt but just said, "mom, i am fine spiritually.

  TTATT You say you know this is the ' only life', use it , enjoy it. Your advice to others is admirable, but shouldn't you apply this reasoning to youself first? Better to face it earlier than later. I hope you have freinds or even other family members around you who can help and support you. Always remember most if not all on this forum are with you.

  HEY Perry when you say "god said let there be light", don't you mean;. whoever was the author of the book of genesis said god said?.. You surely can't trust an imperfect man to get it right . After all didn't a supposedly perfect man get it all wrong even although he had everything going for him, perfect wife, perfect garden, plenty food,dominion over everything. You cant trust a perfect man, so why think an imperfect mans words[genesis] are reliable. If you say because of faith IMO you are insulting your intelligence. peace be with you.

  Hi eden one. by all means keep a low profile, but how low? Crawl on your belly... or...stand up proud and tall? your choice. Which decision will earn you the most respect fromyour wife/family not to mention your own dignity . Remember you have yourself to live with for the rest of your life,how important is that to you?   According to my brother an elder his take on it was that although the U.N. can be seen as the image of the wild beast it is also a part of the wild beast as it foms a significant part of the worlds political powers which it definately does so there really is no ambiguity about it the U.N. can definately be described as part of the wild beast .its all bullshit to me anyway Just my 2cts worth
