  well ive been studying with the jehovah witness for about 3 yrs now and im really thinking about making myself a publisher and i want to know is this website real and why are people talking about hiding their names what are they hiding it for shouldnt you be happy that youre studying with the jw and the jehovah called on you.

  and what's up with all the swearing havent you thought about keeping up good lanquage in case someone visits this site and see that and whats up with the half naked pictures of women whats really going on

  Shana,

  I was raised as a JW and was in the religion for 26 years until 1997. At that time my husband left my children and I for another woman. Yes, he was a JW and is still an active JW. The elders did nothing to him for that action. However, I became inactive and no longer wanted to be in the religion due to false information I obtained from the Watchtower Organization for 26 years and also for other reasons. Anyway, I was disfellowshipped in 1999 for having my daughter out of "wedlock". This came after the fact that the elders or the congregation did not care enough to even check on my children and I (not even a phone call) from 1997-1999. They only came to my place of employment to tell me that I would be disfellowshipped for being pregnant and not married.

  My family, parents, my 4 siblings and their spouses(also neices and nephews), shun me. Also, every JW shuns me. I have learned to live with this and I have other threads on this issue. I would just hate for anyone else to go through such emotional pain.

  I agree with EVERY post I have seen on this thread. Especially, you should investigate inside and outside the religion and then come up with your decision. You are an adult with your own mind and can draw your own conclusions.

  Also WELCOME to this site. This site has been a great support for me and I think that you will enjoy the threads and conversations here.

  Only if they find out!! I celebrate x-mas every since my divorce 6 years ago. My children and I love it. Of, course I have been DF'd for a while anyway.

  Gee, it was so nice to find out that Old Saint Nick wasn't from the devil after all. No demons possessed me or my children. lol

  Thanks everyone!!! Actually, my old name was rainbow and my new one Laylaluv. I think months ago I signed in as rainbow. Well, anyway I went to sign in and totally forgot my password so I used my other e-mail address to get it. Well, I didn't notice it was under rainbow until I already posted.

  Laylaluv is under my newer e-mail address.

  My Sister's Wedding - Good and Bad News

  ok.. firstly let me see i can explain this with out too much rambling..... for those who know me, know that i was disfellowshiped in june this year.

  before this time, my mother, stepfather and sister shunned me.

  since my disfellowshipping, i have not had contact with my parents and an occasional text message from my sister.. i found out last week that my sister was getting married on the saturday just gone (11th october) so i decided to give her a call on friday to wish her luck for her wedding.

  A question for the ladies?????

  i have noticed that when the ladies post pictures of "hunks" these guys have no body hair.

  when i was a gymnast many of the guys would cut their hair real short and shave their chests and stomachs and oil them to get a better, more defined look.

  i always thought chest hair was "manly" so i never did it.

  I think they should recycle the Watchtower and Awake magazines for toilet paper. I sorta did, I found a box of old WT & Awake magazines in the basement. I started to throw them away and realized it was a waste of good paper to print them so I should recycle them. I used them to train my pups. They crapped all over them. lol

  i remember when i was going over my baptismal questions the elder spouted off this scripture to me.. looking back at it i wonder how could he be such a moron!

  I was way to young, 13 yo. The only reason I did it, my father who was an elder at the time kept pressuring me to do so. My mother and I have had a discussion or two about my baptism age. I told her I wasn't even old enough at the time to make any adult decisions like drive, drink,....etc. So why in the world does the organization think you are old enough to be baptized? Why do they let young people make the "most important decision of their lives" if you are not old enough to make adult decisions in the first place?

  Then, the organization talks against babies being baptized in other religions. What's the difference?

  My family gave a great witness at my little sister's wedding...NOT!

  (july 18,19,&20) i wanted to share with all of you what happened this weekend.. i was my little sister's wedding.

  the one who ran away from home at age 16 and the judge gave me custody.
