  One of the things that I learned after leaving the borg was how REAL people "out there" are.
  
  I've met some of the nicest Witnesses. I met some of the hateful.
  
  But the same in the "world" tm (and I hate that phrase - the world.)
  
  Anyway, it's all the same.

  Ok... Heathen.
  
  And respectfully... this is a good debate. A good "talking contest."
  
  I know Howard Stern doesn't know who I am.
  
  But I do know, he's pretty straight up.
  
  And I like that.
  
  You know (and this is all hearsay). When Dan Rather was attacked - thus the imfamous song "What's the Frequency Kenneth" from REM.
  
  But when Dan Rather was attacked. There was a rumor that it was from a jealous husband.
  
  Now, I REALLY like Dan Rather.
  
  But it IS refreshing when you see someone in radio or TV that just tells it like it is.
  
  I mean, it's part of Dan Rather's job to be Politially Correct.
  
  And I respect him greatly for that. Becaue that's his thing.
  
  But how refreshing is it when you have someone like Howard Stern that isn't afraid to say shit.

  I do understand where you are coming from.
  
  I'll tell you why I think he's popular. Or at least the other half likes him.
  
  I love Howard Stern because people either LOVE HIM or HATE HIM.
  
  There's really no in between.
  
  You either get his "shtick" or you don't.
  
  But here's where I think his attraction lies...
  
  Howard Stern's ACT is that he's makes you feel like he's your best friend sitting with you at a strip club.
  
  Let me explain...
  
  Picture two best friends at work in the office.
  
  All day long they are polite. Politically corret.
  
  Then work is over and these two guys are drinkng beers at the strip club.
  
  They'll talk about the boss. They'll talk about the secretary they want to bang.
  
  They'll talk and just be honest.
  
  Have you ever heard Howard Stern do a radio commercial???
  
  In my market, Howard Stern did a couple of commercials for local businesses and I tell you... they were amazingly effective because he didn't come off as fake. But he came off as your "best friend" saying "HEY - you have to check this out."

  I think that's the point.
  
  The trail blazer in life (less I use the word Pioneers) do things on their own terms.
  
  Sure. Satelite Radio and all that is new.
  
  But if anyone can - HE can to sent the new standard.

  I agree.
  
  It's NOT the fact that the FCC came down on Stern.
  
  We knew that was going to happen.
  
  But for Clear Channel not to stand up for him is crazy.
  
  I stand up to my employees for the stupidest things. SOMETIMES, even if they are in the wrong.

  my wife and i are having discussions with our bible study daughter lately, and she is getting together at our house with our other daughter who is not involved with j.w.

  's, tonight.

  she says she wants to see all of us, and have pizza together for supper.

  Due to the WT, I have considered suicide several times.
  
  But the last time (about a year ago), I actually had the police come to my home.
  
  Hate to go on and on about this...
  
  I'm moving on.
  
  But the bottom line is this:
  
  I FINALLY learned to love myself. And finally learned to BE LOVED by Jesus.
  
  Thank GOD.
  
  When NOBODY else, and I mean elders, Circuit Overseesrs, or any other person helped me.
  
  One did... the Living Christ.
  
  PLEASE understand that what I say is real.

  i read last week that one person knew it was a lot of cr*p the book study he was doing,but he didn't say as he didn't want to offend.. any comments?.

  I'm friends with the Prince's inner circle (Larry Graham, etc.)
  
  Anyway, after spending a weekend with Prince and his wife, I had all good news to tell.
  
  Stuff about Prince giving his first talk and all that.
  
  I THOUGHT it would be an encouraging thing to tell everyone about after the bookstudy.
  
  But evidentaly, no one could give a SH!T.
  
  How are you going to be like that???
