Rich in Cong treated different???

in my old cong, there was a sister that was rich.

at times, she would buy vacations for the po.

(the vacations were "spiritual" vacations such as international ass'es.

At times, she would buy vacations for the PO.

(The vacations were "spiritual" vacations such as International Ass'es.)

But, non-the-less, they were very expensive vacations.

Anyway, she was always treated with kid gloves even though she got her wealth from marrying a worldly person and that guy died - leaving her a fortune.

On the other hand, me and my wife pioneered and we also prospered materially.

But as we bought new stuff, we were always viewed as materialistic.
I'm thinking because we never bought crap for the PO.

Even though we made everything while we were both pioneering.

Anyone else have an experience???

clearly, there is every earmark of financial worries within the watchtower society.. even governing body members have expressed concern about falling contribution levels.

within congregations.

yet, for the faithful, the answer is simple: wait on jehovah.. .

I mean, what it was - was - what it was.

My mom, who is not a Dub. (No one in my family is. And interestingly, makes it possible that disfellowshiping has no power over me).

But my mom to told me, "You got dupped. So just move on."

Did you wear your badge outside the convention, so as to "give a witness?"

this year at the dc, we were expressly told to wear our badges at all times, even when going to a restaurant or some place else, so we could "give a witness.".

did any of you hear follow through with this arrangement?

did you have one of those "fantastic" experiences, when someone commented on your badge?.

I wore it.

Reluctantly.

And I also got on the case of other "brothers" that didn't wear it.

See. Even when it came to stuff like this.

I'm telling you.

If the GB said to wear it, I would.

And it REALLY bothered my conscious if I didn't.
