  What is your town or area's claim to fame?

  every where you live, the local area has something about it that is either famous for something good or something bad.

  as an example, you go to one town and it may have the historial site of a famous war battle.

  you go to another an it might be the place something was invented, or the birthplace of someone famous.

  What is the best question to ask a j.w. during a Bible study?

  last year, i dropped by my daughter and son -in-laws' house just when they were having a bible study, and i was invited to "sit in" on it, and be an observer.

  i didn't ask any questions, because i was not prepared for this event, so i "behaved' and just listened.

  if i would find myself in this predicament again in the future, i wonder what question i would bring up that they would have difficulty answering, to show how the watchtower lies to new converts and worldly people when teaching them?

  Need your opinion on JW teaching

  next week i'm going to speak with a large group of people about the jehovah's witnesses and one or two of their teachings.

  i don't have time to discuss all of their bizarre beliefs so i'd like to ask your opinions on which subjects to use.

  what would you consider to be the one most outrageous teachings of the watchtower you would chose?

  i was told that ( by the husband) that child molesting is brought up often at the meeting and how it is up to the family if the police should be notified.

  now i know it is not favored to call the police but has anyone heard these talks on molesting at the meetings?

  anything about molestings?.

  Stinky burning tires

  i live about 45 min from a town called watertown which has a massive tire fire and it has traveled all the way to my neck of the woods and the sky is black and the air really smelly.

  of course it had to be today the first day it is cool enough to open my windows.

  well so much for fresh air.. .

  i guess there are times when i'm not quick enough!

  earlier this week i had my weekly study and it's taken me a while to get on line to post.

  the study itself was pretty blah so i'll spare the details, hopefully next week will be more interesting.

  My Story

  i have been lurking through this sight for about a month now and have found it to be wonderful!

  i would like to say right off- i am not a baptized witness-i am not a publisher- i do not have family in the borg-nor do i have friends there either- i just study with the jw's.

  at 1st i thought "wow- these people really know their stuff- this is great!
