Go to JW-archive, there is quite a few interesting animals there. At least four different threads were started on the matter. Some asking for prayers for the elders in questioning, others pointing out the RC as the start of the attack of Gog of Magog (is anyone surprised?). Some very harsh comments there from JW and non JW alike. As someone said, moderators and other hard line JWs have even made comments like "I am reporting this site as apostate", simply because some brothers dare to publicly admit this is wrong.

Not only protects you, but it may also turn out that it protects your relationship. For as long as the elders or the cong in general doesn't know what is going on with you, they won't be able to do much. IF they ever found out and also became aware as to how far out you are, then they will inadvertently (and I say this because they won't realize that they too been conditioned) begin to build a wall between you and him. This will happen by means of the things others mentioned, gossiping, slander, passive aggressive comments, etc. If he has a hard time talking to you know, wait until that happens.
This is one of the many ways in which you can show yourself how cultish this org is, they use their own members to make sure to cast out anyone who is not fully in. There is no middle stand with them.

Witness behavior in my gym ....
by SecretSlaveClass inabout two months ago two very attractive ladies in their mid 30's signed on at one of the gyms i belong to.
for a while i noticed them watching me and naturally i assumed they were taking an interest in how i went about training my clients since many do before they decide to approach me and inquire about my services (i own a health and fitness consultancy).. sure enough one of them approached me a few weeks back and asked me for a business card, inquired about rates and various other aspects involved with signing on with me.
i handed her a card and explained that my client schedule was full but she should consider signing on with one of my personal trainers who still had some open spots available.

Finally got a copy of the silver NWT
by wozza inafter not having a nwt translation for a few years i scored the latest edition still wrapped in plastic !
but guess where ?
at the local salvation army shop ...for free!.

I remember seeing an episode of "Hoarders". This man was getting help on cleaning up his house. When the crew thought they were done, they discovered a bigger mess in the basement and the basement was also flooded from a leaky pipe. In the background, you could see some stuff floating around. Among some other things, I recognized a JW song book, the old style book. He later picked it up and I confirmed what I saw.
I've also picked up a copy of the book "The bible: word of man or God's" (or something of that sort) at a thrift store.

How does the WTS view 'ancient humans' (i.e. fossils assigned to the genus Homo)?

Need the hardest evidence possible that humans have lived for more than 6000 years
by ILoveTTATT2 insince coming out of the witnesses, i have gone through a transformation in thought and in mind.
i started with the usual: i thought that jesus was god.
then i investigated more about the bible and thought that the bible was not true, given the many contradictions, failed prophecies, etc.. then i investigated evolution and read lots and now i accept evolution and natural selection as things that are true.. now, i need to make my dad rethink everything.
