  about 10 years ago i came here years ago looking for some understanding.. my wife was getting baptized, and i was starting to realize that the jw was no mere religion.. fear led to anger, and anger led to panicked and rushed reactions.

  i called them a cult.. with time the people here helped me to understand my situation.

  i read steve hassan and worked tirelessly to apply his principles.

  New letter about Circuit Conventions accounting procedures

  i hope that one of the friends will post the letter soon.

  i heard that on 3/27/2017 a letter with new instructions about the accounts at the circuit conventions was released.

  the letter seems to adopt many of the corrections that had been suggested here at the forum, among other things during the accounts report they will be no mention of the per capita and the amount due is going to be released only to the elders.

  reading john cedars book and the section about when the more crazy shit gets introduced to you is very telling.

  Even the most committed witness, provided you are not a seasoned elder that has seen it all, would tell you that DFing is carried out to weed out the rotten apples. Those who commit fornication and such. By the time they become aware that it goes beyond that and that people get DFed for petty things, they indoctrination runs so deep that you can not talk against it.

  Who can explain why the "Two Witness" rule is wrong, in the simplest term?

  with all the legalese being tossed around, and the expert manipulation on the part of the wtbts, who can explain why the "two witness" is being perverted by the wtbts?

  i don't care if you're a bible believer and want to approach this from a biblical standpoint, or if you simply use logic and reason.

  how would you explain this subject to a j-dub, or even a non-dub?.

  Read Deut 17:8-9. I believe it clearly states that in cases of assault you can just go around looking for a second witness and you should rely on judge. Sure, Israel was a theocratic nation but I believe the principle is clear. Two witness rule was for mundane issues like who stole your cow.

  I good well know elder from my spanish cong had his daughter featured in a study edition of the WT couple of years ago. Everyone was elated. She had married and moved to Bethel. She was shown in a picture dressed as a bible character. Can't remember who. Fast forward to today, her dad elder had to move closer to her because apparently she can't stop sleeping around.

  The WT sole existence is a conspiracy on itself. LOL

  It isn't far fetched or impossible. Everyone know every cult out there is losing the battle against the internet. I know the company I work for will dive right in if the WT showed up and promised an almost guaranteed influx of customers (most of the witnesses in our service area) with the simple condition that we would carve a VLAN to direct the traffic to their own network. We would do it for the same price as any other customer. The sole idea of getting all this customers sent our way would be more than enough for our executives to accept the deal

  One more indication that the future of this cult is digital and getting closer to becoming a closed up network. Although this is speculation, they know deep inside that they can dream and if the can do so they can also make it happen. With wireless becoming so cheap and much more reliable, I can see how easy it would be for them to begin creating their own holy network. Off course, it would take time.
