  I think we should make more clear whether we are comparing religions relative to one another or in an absolute.

  If we are going "relative", then certainly, it is somewhat inaccurate to compare ISIS and other Christians like the JWs and bag them all under extremism.

  If we are going "absolute", then we have already made the case here before that even if you don't die because of the JW doctrines, you still ran the chance of having a very traumatizing experience. Some would argue that it would be better to die

  With that said, and if we concentrate on the JWs alone, people do die because of the doctrines. May be they don't kill innocent bystanders but people still die because of religious beliefs. Saying that JWs are not extreem just because ISIS is more violent, is simply putting a bar on something that should not exist whatsoever. Very much like Dr Applewhite tried to make the case that the JWs were not as bad as the Catholics when it came to child abuse. Not a good excuse. Judge McLean made it very clear. It is not a competition.

  New letter about Circuit Conventions accounting procedures

  i hope that one of the friends will post the letter soon.

  i heard that on 3/27/2017 a letter with new instructions about the accounts at the circuit conventions was released.

  the letter seems to adopt many of the corrections that had been suggested here at the forum, among other things during the accounts report they will be no mention of the per capita and the amount due is going to be released only to the elders.

  reading john cedars book and the section about when the more crazy shit gets introduced to you is very telling.

  Even the most committed witness, provided you are not a seasoned elder that has seen it all, would tell you that DFing is carried out to weed out the rotten apples. Those who commit fornication and such. By the time they become aware that it goes beyond that and that people get DFed for petty things, they indoctrination runs so deep that you can not talk against it.

  Who can explain why the "Two Witness" rule is wrong, in the simplest term?

  with all the legalese being tossed around, and the expert manipulation on the part of the wtbts, who can explain why the "two witness" is being perverted by the wtbts?

  i don't care if you're a bible believer and want to approach this from a biblical standpoint, or if you simply use logic and reason.

  how would you explain this subject to a j-dub, or even a non-dub?.

  Read Deut 17:8-9. I believe it clearly states that in cases of assault you can just go around looking for a second witness and you should rely on judge. Sure, Israel was a theocratic nation but I believe the principle is clear. Two witness rule was for mundane issues like who stole your cow.

  I good well know elder from my spanish cong had his daughter featured in a study edition of the WT couple of years ago. Everyone was elated. She had married and moved to Bethel. She was shown in a picture dressed as a bible character. Can't remember who. Fast forward to today, her dad elder had to move closer to her because apparently she can't stop sleeping around.
