This change in attitude toward the internet was one of the things that began to open my eyes to the fact that the GB doesn't have a clue....So, I guess Jehovah must have changed his mind about using the internet, huh? Or was it that the GB did not find any good in it until they could capitalize on it? It's interesting how through the years they did a 180 on using the internet... from it being all evil to changing the identity from Jehovah's Witnesses to JW.org.

When I am working around the house, I often google: Utube + Jehovah's Witnesses or Utube + jw.org. It's good to catch up on the latest videos of those exposing the Watchtower. Today, though when I searched, up popped all sorts of videos from the Borg itself. Many were not in English. Many were posts of clips from JW.org. Has this subject been discussed? It's been a while since I've been on this site.
I maybe wrong, but it appears that there has been instruction from the WT to different countries to post videos from JW.org. It is pretty smart, actually....because it will put the apostate videos lower on the search. It's good for them in their 'theocratic warfare' but bad for us seeking the real truth about the truth. What do you think?

$40,000.00 USD, and counting.....
by DATA-DOG ini'm not sure if anyone is keeping track, but as of today, the wtbts has spent $40,000.00 usd to avoid releasing sensitive documents to the superior authorities.
that's $40,000.00 usd of "dedicated funds.

$120,000.00 is pittance to them. They can sell a Kingdom Hall for it's equity and still have cash left over. GRRRR

Pshycos! - 2016 "Remain Loyal to Jehovah" Regional Convention Program
by thedepressedsoul inwow this is interesting!
i think how much emphasis this puts on "loyalty" shows their is an issue.
they're trying to plug the wholes as much and quickly as possible.

I just took a look at the program. Geeeeeeesh! It reminds me of abusive spouses...."Yes, I know I've beat you and abused you, but you need to stay loyal" Forget the fact that they've lied and abused, they turn the tables and make you think that you're wrong for having a brain! What total trash!
They equate staying loyal to GOD as staying loyal to the lying, traitorous organization. What garbage!
Spin. Spin. Spin.
Loyalty to them is slipping away. They are having the 'regional' convention at the Assembly Halls now. Growth is not happening. People are waking up. So, of course they use abusive tactics and blame the victim....they say are not loyal to GOD if they realize they are duped and leave. Jerks.

We rented the movie over the weekend. As everyone has said on this thread...it is an excellent movie. It was also very affirming...Watching the reporters struggle with their own disillusionment with the Catholic church was very cathartic for me. There was a scene in the movie where the two reporters were discussing their personally coming to grips with the failure of the Church ...It was trigger for me and brought up all the feelings that I dealt with through my ordeal with the WTBTS. Although it dredged up old emotions, it was also very reaffirming. If you have dealt with an religious abuse ...rent this movie!. -

"But WHY would you want to know those things??"
by stuckinarut2 ini ran into an older sister who has always been very sweet.. it was a friendly chat...yet she pushed for a reason why my family have been missing from meetings for some time.
the question was deflected, until it just had to be said: "well, there have been some troubling and disturbing issues about the society especially the way things were handled during the royal commission, as well as many other issues".. she quickly cut in and said "but why would you want to know these things?
its best not to research and look at those sort of things - so we don't get upset!".

New GB video: Why Reduce the Number of Special Full-Time Servants?
by Gorbatchov inwatchtower released at tv.jw.org a new gb video with samuel f. herd, with the theme:.
why reduce the number of special full-time servants?.
it seems there is a reason to release this special message.. http://tv.jw.org/#en/video/vodstudio/pub-jwbrd_201511_4_video.

In the bogus announcement video on JW TV, Herd made the statement that they had to reduce the number of special pioneers to cover inflated costs in in the organization. He mentioned how expensive it was to support the many special pioneers. Huh? Aren't the housing needs often free homes donated by members? Or paid off WT facilities?????? I thought that they received basic needs and a very small monthly allowance. Don't special pioneers often have to find employment to sustain their needs? -

Your post peaked my interest. I put my vomit bag beside my computer and clicked on play. Now I want to rant too!!!!!
The first sentence was "Look back to learn. Look ahead to live." Then he talked about Jehovah telling us from BEHIND on how to walk....God almighty! You can tell how God isn't telling them how to walk, because the JW's are walking in a zig-zag direction. They don't know where to hell they are going! The end is here...no it's not...yes it is...this generation, no that generation. Give me a break!
Then they talk about only looking back to learn from past mistakes. God almighty! If we look back with eyes of reason, we realize we were duped!!!!!
"No one can deceive Jehovah" I want to scream out "Dumb-nuts listen to what you are saying....jerk!!!!'
I am with you about the video. I could have sworn I was looking at a Hallmark movie trailer. I have nothing against TV, but why are they spending all that cash on movie productions when they could be spending it assist the needy and infirmed? What about all those Bethelites that were booted out, without anything but a handshake? Even wordy companies give a stipend of some sort.... "Be warm and well fed" It's all about worshiping the cult. Where is the love??????
