How would we recognise Christ's return? (serious question)

if he appeared in china or asia (the west wouldn't accept him) and visa versa.. has anyone considered the possablity that a meeting is currently taking place in heaven, and god, jesus and a few good spirits are sitting around trying to figure out the best way to positively influence us?

Has anyone considered the possablity that a meeting is currently taking place in Heaven, and God, Jesus and a few good spirits are sitting around trying to figure out the best way to positively influence us? It's always assumed they know exactly what they are doing, however if we truely do have a free will, then this is something they couldn't predict 100%. I know our free will can be very predictable at times, however I don't believe God could ever 100% know what we're going to do next if our will is truely free? Would this not cause God, Christ and ensamble to take the temperature of Earth and prescribe an exact does of ____?____ instead of good old miracles? Maybe miracles would not work this time around?
Example: To my pet Dog, I am his God in that he doesn't understand my reasoning process. I on the other hand am quite smart and predict his behaviour (even control it to a certain extent) I also care and love him, however if I brought an armadillo into the house I couldn't be exactly sure what he would do since he hasn't seen one before. Now I'm not suggesting that you think of Christ as an armadillo, but if this helps you understand my question then so be it.
I suppose my question is; taken for granted that Christ loves us as a good shephard wanting to care for his little lambs; How do YOU think he should approach us? Consider for a moment, it really is up to you, because God and Jesus are running low on ideas for this day and age (a particulary bloody, godless and selfish age in my opinion).
Sorry this is so long winded - just need to ask a few questions.

A lesson for those who are thinking about being home schooled.
by obiwan ini have recently found out that my highschool diploma is no good.. so, now i'm enrolled in a ged course so i can have that to get into the program.
the problem is, they can't hold my position, they have to give it to someone else.
i can reapply next year, but who know's if there will be any positions open then.. this is so humiliating and embarassing, i'm 34 and i find out from someone else my diploma is no good, worse yet, i have to get a ged.

Obiwan I'm very sorry to hear about this. I can sympathize. Although I can run rings around most University Graduates (in my choosen career), I don't get the work because I didn't actually go to University. They just assume I'm an idiot that has only had 12 months work experience instead of 16 years of hard work and personally study. Sometimes, you feel like you're butting your head up against a brick wall begging for someone to recognize you for you and not a peice of paper - it sucks big time. I've lost out on heaps of good paying work simply because of this issue. To make matters worse, the "Job Agencies" that help you find work, can be even worse than employers - often they don't know anything and have no training themselves. You try and explain to some stupid 21 yo girly your technical background, and she hasn't the slightest clue what you're talking about. So because the Job Agencies don't have good training (ie. they are just sales people!) they can actually make the problem much worse. Avoid bad job agencies that don't speak your language, and stick up for yourself when you feel you need too. Shop around, ask questions. Your no longer a kid, but you're far from being old either. I think 34 is an exciting age for change. If your career aspirations closely match your internal ideals (sprititual, moral or otherwise), then I'm 100% certain that you will find an excellent and meaningful job that you enjoy. I hope your discouragment is only temporary and I wish you all the best.

Prayers in Restaurants....
by caspian inon bank holiday monday just gone, a dear kind older couple in the cong decided to take me and my good lady out for a slap up meal, to try to cheer us up after the recent upheaval in our life.
somehow i ended up with the bill.. anyway, this was the local italian trattoria were we often go, and are on first names terms with the staff and quite a few of the other regulars.
big mistake!!.

At your next outing, make sure you invite a Hindu and a Muslim (very nice people - I have neighbours) . JW's automatically assume that everyone at the table is of Christian faith, or psuedo-Christian. They are a minority religion.
Next time, ask them to stand outside the resturant on the street corner and prayer even louder - they won't, but will inside. Funny that.

Thanks for the explaination. If I read this right (?) it looks as though the publishers are the ones that fund the organization and are the main consumers of the magazines (ie. paying for them) whilst the door-to-door sales pitch seems a moot point? Who then is the sales person? I suppose they don't even need to go door to door to fund their organization, what with all the books lying around peoples homes and some of the stories I've heard about fire kindling.

Having never been a Dub (but family is), I find it amazing hearing these stories! What in the hell do you mean you bought magazine to place? Did you get refunds for the magazine you didn't place? I don't understand... How did they make you buy them, but then solicit for donations? How do they justify that odd discrepancy?

I remember an incident when I was only 3 years old. I won't bore you with the details, suffice to say I distinctly remember looking up at my Dad and thinking to myself, "He's lying to me" (a very innocent lie, but one none the less), "I will play along and pretend", I thought to myself. I can only remember that 15 second period in the whole of my my young life under 4 (I can remember everything from 5 and up).
It wasn't so much the events of that day, but the manner in which I had them. I was actually humouring my Dad at age 3. The way my voice sounded inside my head, the manner of actually thinking about consequences as a 3 yo. It was the first time I actually remember thinking!
My point is, you don't really know your children. Not on a deep level. Not in the subconscience realm. I applaud your actions!

Excellent point. Take the illustration to it's logical conclusion - I'm going to practice doing this with their other illustrations and see where I end up. Hey - could make a good website. A list of dub illustrations on the left, with arguments on the right based on their own illustrations but taken further. ha ha.

Stephanus, thanks for posting the picture.
I remember when I was a child, how I used to love looking at pictures in books - particulary those space ones where men would live on distance futuristic planets, or space stations. It would fire up my young imagination and make me look forward to the future.
