  In DOUBT THROW It OUT

  its been awhile since i've posted, i thought i'll drop in and say hello too all the newbies, but i've been reading the posts ocassionally and they have been encouraging to see people take the courage to change from the jw mindset and try too move on with there life.

  for those of you who don't know me i disassociated myself from the wt in june of 1999 with a big smile, have not looked back since.

  my wife was still going at the time with my two kids, this weekend was her convention to my surprise, she did go nor has she attended any meetings in the past six months, since we moved away from my loving mother in law who is still a devout jw, that just bring tears to my eyes, tears of joy cause she can't speak to me, that's a plus, lol.

  Do You Kick Yourself For Going To Meetings When You Were Sick or During....

  inclement weather ?

  i remember having to wait until just about the last minute to call my bookstudy to tell them whether or not a meeting was being held or not.

  and these poor people hoping to enjoy a legitimate meeting off would be told by the elders whether they were expected to go or not.

  wow, there is a lot of newbies lately, heck i've only been here 3-4 months, has the watchtower been having lots and lots of talks on apostate sites ???

  why do you suppose there are so many new people joining in ???.

  i'm new here and just wanted to say hello to everyone.. i walked away a few years ago, i just couldn't believe the new light on the generation they are forcing on .

  teaching people.

  i also got burned - out on all the gossip and the other social garbage.

  WHY THE HELL DO I STILL FEEL GUILTY??!!

  ok, i've known for a long time now that this is not "the one true religion", but i can't for the life of me, seem to make the final break.

  i seldom go to meetings and am usually bored out of my mind when i do go, but for the life of me, after i've missed about 3 or 4 weeks i start feeling guilty about "missing meetings" and i'll go.

  i'm really frustrated and angry with myself that i can't make the break, but in all honesty, there's still some people at the hall that i care about and i guess i'd miss them if i left completely.
