"would we not all make the changes in order to grow older ? Like diet and not smoking etc....."
Uhhhhhh ... no. It ain't about the destination, man. It all ends in a six foot deep hole. It's about the fun you have along the way.
What if there was a minimum you needed? People would think you were nuts to even pose the question I suppose. Some might even call the 'help' lines on your behalf. What would be the minimum, if you had to choose, or could?

I would live forever on a paradise earth. :-P
I am 43 and hope to be around for a bit longer, so I take my vitamins and supplements.
I worry sometimes because I don't have health insurance. Should I get sick and require surgery or extensive medical care, I'd probably die because I wouldn't be able to afford going to a hospital. As a matter of fact, I worry about that a lot.
Dan o- so you are one of those materialistic kind of guys that love the world huh?
Nah. I'm basically just a wise-ass.
I've been around the Tower's "everlasting life" scam from the time I was a kid. It took some time to adjust to the idea that I wasn't going to live forever, and that I would die like everyone else.
I'm 59-years old, and hope to stick around another 20 or 30 years. For the most part, I've greatly enjoyed life after the Tower, and hope whatever time I have left is just as enjoyable. I workout 4 or 5 times a week at the Y, and eat and drink a reasonable diet--I'll let you know how it works out 30 years from now. :)
Professor,
I did that death clock a few years ago, answered the questions the same then as I just did. When I did this a few years ago it gave me till 2039 and today it said 2028 so I don't think that is very accurate.
