All the JWs that I know of look miserable. They look burdened, tired and hopeless. Do You see any happy Witnesses?

During Gina's judicial committee meeting, one of the elders was trying to show how awful the world has become and why we need the meetings now more than ever, so he said:
"Nobody ever says, 'I feel great!' anymore. When I first came into the truth back in the 70's, I heard that a lot. But today nobody says that, not in Jehovah's Organization."
So.... he USED to hear people say they felt great, then he became one of 'the happiest people on earth' and now he never hears it...

No, surely not!!! Well thats shattered my illusion. Mind you, those nasty self righteous grins (I'm going to be in the Watchtower!!!) gives a whole new viewpoint of the photographer saying "Say Cheese!!!"

My daughter's last email to me, she said she knows "I'm not happy".
In my reply I told her, "You haven't seen me in over a year, how can you know I am not happy? Oh yes, that's right, the Watchtower told you all who are not Witness are not happy. They say it, therefore, you believe it."
Then I signed off and told her that I hoped she was as happy as I am.

I think deep down the dubs as a whole are starting to doubt their beliefs. That doubt is manifesting itself as a sort of depressed paranoia amongst the rank and file. That depression is a hollow fear of the truth.. that no armageddon and subsequent Dub deliverance is ever coming.
