Kent, I did ask you two questions, as to why you, yourself, went 'off-topic' and and 'flamed' others?, and what do you get out of it?

It's still a cult to me! Variations of the cult behavior don't make it any less a cult. Bottom line,as you said,whether there are variations on that continuum,they all practice the basic wts policies.
And now that I think of it,the fact that the standards may vary in the minor aspects of their cultism shows how malleable they are as well. If a body of elders is a bit lenient, they'll act in sync with that. They are still 'following' the leaders. Just a thought.

I think the personal attacks on this thread are completely over the top. Can we just put this down as a clash of personalities and kiss and make up.

Funny, I never thought of apostates as a community. It kind of brings a tear to my eye. Do we have a Credit Union?
You and YK should be able to discuss this idea at length. He, too, is convinced that there is some "Apostate community," or as he puts it "movement" afoot, and it is an organized group bent on the destruction of the WBTS. What you fail to realize is that those who leave the organization take many different paths, and there is no reason to think that all ex-witnesses get along with all other ex-witnesses based soley on their past experiences.
