and I am in my office by myself. The person that we hired just faxed over a letter letting us know that she will no longer be working for us (and can we please mail her her paycheck?). It is a slow day, and I have nothing to do and none to talk to. Any one here want to waste some time talking to me?

And the guy I work with has just called in to say he will be sick today. This is after I overheard him on the phone yesterday organising with a friend to 'go on a mission' and 'get bent'...

Lola- Is this the woman you guys just hired who also gets to work from home part time and didn't show up on saturday? Or was that someone elses thread?

Yes it is the same woman, we just hired her 2 weeks ago, a few days later she was "sick" so she just went home early, mind you she only works three hours a day,and she did not show up on Saturday and now this today. What sucks is that my boss had to go out of town and now I am the only one here for a week.
