GodRules, don't count on a Watchtower Representative speaking in behalf of the Organization to fool the producer of Dateline into believing that the Watchtower Society is such a wonderful and truthful religion. Dateline knows all too well what the Watchtower Society is trying to cover up. Pedophiles in the closet just keep coming out to embarrass the good ol boys at the top. They keep trying to hide them but now there are too many victims that the Watchtower has tried to bully into silence, that are wanting to be heard loud and clear. And guess what GR, there isn't a damned thing WT can do to keep them silent anymore. I hope you enjoy the show when it airs this Fall. Dateline will expose the REAL APOSTATES. The Governing Body. I wonder if the producer of Dateline thinks that little Erica at the trial that is going on this week is an "opposer", or an "apostate". Maybe the real opposers are the Witnesses taking the side of the Pedophile. Do you really think the "householders" want to be drawn to such a tarnished, disfunctional, religion that spiritually abuses the members through guilt, shame, blame, punishment, and antagonistic, legalistic rules and regulations and sanctions meated out to victims and anyone daring to speak the truth?? On the thread that announces the happy results of Erica's trial in Washington State yesterday, it is mentioned that Dateline was present and filming at the trial.
So obviously, there is still more investigating and editing to be done before the final program is "put to bed".

GodRules, you keep your head buried in the sand, if that's what works for you. If you think it will have a positive effect on the organization, you are sadly mistaken. Pedophiles are considered the most vile of human beings.

I can't wait till the show airs. It will be great publicity for the Witnesses. Do you really think that NBC will side with the opposers? They will not. They will be neutral and also interview a Watchtower representative. And just like other attempts by apostates to try to throw dirt on Jehovah's Organization, it will backfire and have more householders interested in the Witnesses.
I agree, GodRules, this will give the Jehovah’s Witnesses a great publicity. And I don’t think the NBC will “side with the opposers”, I’m pretty sure they have checked every sentence said with their lawyers, to be sure everything they air are documented facts. That way they can expose the Pedophile Paradise without any risk of being sued by the Watchtower.
Of course they will interview a representative from the Watchtower, and it’s 100% sure this representative will represent the Watchtower the way they want him to. Unfortunately they will only prove they are a bunch of arrogant old bastards, and make people all over USA aware of the real truth behind “The Truth”.
How many children have you molested the last week, GodRules? You’re talking about “apostates” trying to “throw dirt on Jehovah’s Organization”. None of us is doing anything of the kind! We’re just exposing the fact that The Watchtower Organization and their congregation elders have protected child molesters for decades, and they never reported pedophiles, murderers and rapists to the police!
If you believe the NBC will present behavior like that as something we should all imitate, I’m afraid you will be extremely disappointed. To the contrary, I believe thousands of people will call the NBC after Dateline airs to tell THEIR story, and I’m pretty sure NBC will arrange a special phone-line for handling all the expected phones as well.
How many of these victims do you believe will sue the elders, the congregation and the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society? When they start realizing the Watchtower will start to pay hundreds of millions of dollars - money Jehovah’s Witnesses like you will have to “donate” in the cute boxes in the Kingdom Hall - they will sue. And you will have to pay more dollars to the Watchtower, so they can pay more compensation to their victims.
I’m not so sure the householders will be so interested in having pedophiles knocking at their doors, no - I don’t think so. A person that is a smoker won’t come - the Watchtower doesn’t like that. But pedophiles - No Problem. As long as the pedophile doesn’t molest his/her victims with two or more witnesses, this pedophile will keep on knocking doors - you never know what he will do when the householder is out - and the children are alone!
Yes, I’m sure this will be a fine testimony for the Jehovah’s Witnesses. I wouldn’t be surprised if it became directly dangerous to walk around knocking doors! Actually, contrary to you, most people find child molesters to be assholes. They don’t think - like you do - these people will make a good impression on the public in the US of A.

I guess it is ok if someone makes you mad enough by hitting you between the eyes with the real truth. Slander is lies. Everything said so far with the exception of yourself, is true fact. Are you a Pedophile GR?? The one's I have met believe thier victims are apostate, and so do the elders who support them. The beauty of Dateline is that they dont TELL a story unless there IS a story...so yes, millions of people will tune in to this because millions watch Dateline. And I guaranfreakintee you, the JWs will watch it too. The lines will be ABUZZ the next day about how Dateline "lied and misrepresented Jehovahs Organization" which is the standard JW line about anything that even remotely opposes their faux paradise. And yes it will be GOOD publicity for the Watch Tower Society and their minions...that story will stick in the craw of all those millions of viewers and the next time a JW comes a knocking with their sickly sweet fake smiles and their promises of paradise...all that householder will see will be a potential pedophile they might be inviting into their home.
