Welcome, and have fun!
Welcome Klinton,
I'm one of the DF'd ones, for celebrating Christmas. (Officially "apostasy") I didn't care,I didn't think it was "the truth" anymore, but I would've preferred to stay officially in to keep contact with my jw in-law's. Oh well...
Have you taken any other spiritual path in the time you've been out?
And as far as the faithful dubs that post here... what the elders don't know doesn't hurt them, right?

Dave, you cant be serious. You would have remained a JW to "keep contact" with your in-laws? It seems to me that you have the perfect excuse to do what almost every married person I know craves within the depths of their soul, to avoid or be shunned by their in-laws. Now I have a pretty good relationship with mine but how many people do you know that complain about in-laws? LOL
Thanks Klinton, the heavy drinking definately going on!

With every cloud comes a silver lining!
Hi klinton, I am DF'd too, for associating with a DF'd person. :) You are more than welcome here. I used to be a prolific poster but my mind and body isn't what it used to be, but I will try to stalk you anyway. ;)
Hahahah! Cordilia. But of course! Just remember not to lose sight of what it is you wanted from leaving, and go after it. It's too easy to get caught up in the doldrums and spend too much time missing what you've lost. You've paid for your ticket to freedom so use it!
Welcome!!! My folks burned all my comic-books because they were a "bad-influence" on me(lots of Byrne X-men, all the Miller Daredevil). I got back at them though, I now own a comic-book store.
Hahahaha...good stuff.
