Denial is extremely powerful. Many JWs will refuse to believe anything profoundly bad about the WTS.
If the WTS was totally discredited in the eyes of the JWs

What do you mean "if"...?
It is...and you can SEE the results.

There are a lot of scandals especially now that the WTS is forming alliances with the likes of the moonies the scientologists and the Hare Krishnas, the abominable daughters of babylon according to them, to promote their interests. They are so sensitive to money issues they will do anything to save some from taxes.
But there could be worse scandals to shake the dubs to their foundations, like finding out that a lot of WTS profits go to private hands. All their wealth comes from their members the unpaid slave workers and the naive donators. -

If a really big scandal happened in the WTS and the R&F realised that the organisation is the big con that it is, how do you think they would react?
Since most of them really believe at least most of the doctrines they have been taught for so long by the WTS, there would most likely be a split. The majority would start a new organization, elect or select a new GB, and start printing the mags and books as though nothing had happened. Maybe with the exact same printing presses in use now, maybe with new ones. The minority would stick with the org, and rationalize that even if it is a big con, it's OUR big con, and defend it to the end as the only true version of the JW's, calling the majority split-off group the "evil slave class" whose departure proved they were never pure, true, real JW's at all. Maybe a few would join one of the existing non-Rutherfordite offshoots of Russellism.
Of course, this is all hypothetical. There is no scandal possible that would convince a significant percentage of the rank-and-file all at once that the Society is a big con.

Wow, you know this for a fact? Do you have any sources? I know the money must be going somewhere, but I always wondered about this. I`ve heard that the GB has been photographed while on an expensive cruise-ship, but I`ve never actually seen any evidence. If this is true, then I`m getting seriously pi§§ed off. Ruining peoples lives and families, just to get stinking rich. Makes me wanna go medieval on their A§§.

I thought and thought about it. All I could come up with is DENIAL.
I agree. Specially if you gave decades of your life to the WT. ON the other hand, some people need to feel they are earning a membership or title to heaven and will remain in one religion or another. Due to the internet, I think will be only this last third group of people that will be assimilated in the decades to come.
