Would this be the same information that calls sites like this "spiritual pornography" and explains that all "true christians" avoid them like the vile poison that they are? Just because you're willing to mentally tell the GB to go to hell doesn't mean the average JW will do so. When I was in, I did as I was told, just like everybody else. Visit an apostate site? Insanity! Buy a two-door car? Selfish! Understand, I applaud you for thinking for yourself on these matters. But you need to honestly recognize that the GB says one thing, and you do another. That's great, it's perfect, but it's not in line with "theocracy". The "friends" you refer to are doing what they are supposed to do, thinking what they are supposed to think. How long have you been in the organization? How long did you study before becoming a JW? I dont know if you remember many Watchtower and Awake articles talking about materialism "in this time of the end". I remember reading articles targeting young people with pictures of young people looking at a big house (not a mansion) and how the article downplayed it and put it in NEGATIVE perspective the idea that young people should set a goal for having a nice place to live or an education that would give someone the opportunity to support themselves in a way that bethelites are taken care of (they have health insurance or healthcare provided to them as well as recreational facilities and the overseers are getting their car insurance payed for. I know many faithful JWs who make contributions who have none of this). Instead they push pioneering, janitorial jobs, window washing, yard work, etc. After all the end is so close, wouldn't want to lose out and get left behind during the great tribulation by pursing worldly goals. What about them bethelites keeping their eye simple? Have you been to bethel and ate at Bossert dining hall or seen the inside of some of the buildings the bethelites live in, Standish, the Sands building? Very nice living conditions while they tell some of the rank and file who are just barely getting by the scripture Matthew 6:33. Instead of them doing that they beg for more contributions.

What does it take for you to see what you are saying is wrong. Do I have to dig out the publications, scan them and show you what you are saying is wrong?

Never. I feel they DO NOT know what is going on within the congregations. They are tucked away from what most of us go through. They caution us to stay away from many things for many different reasons. Do they know that some are wrongly DF? Do they know Shepards beat the flock? Maybe, I do not know. I do know this. This may be an Apostate site, but many here were victims of spritual beatings from the shepards. Jehovahs knows and I honestly believe He does not condemn me for being here.

The FDS are IN the Congregations, they are as unable to do as much as you and I.

Now if you are talking and I think you are, the GB, that writes the WT they also know whats going on since THEY instigate the treatment.

They talk out of both sides of their mouths, I knew for years something was wrong because the WT mags were so arrogant.

Neither do I, and I say that from the perspective that He exists. If he exists, I am 100% certain he does not condemn you for being here.

So why does the organization that claims to represent him condemn you for it? Think of all the things "Jehovah's Organization" does or sanctions that you understand He would not himself do.

If it DOESN'T quack, walk, or swim like a duck, don't we have to at least consider the possibility that this is not a duck we're dealing with?

Dave that is where we differ in thinking. You think Jehovahs Org should be without mistake, because its Gods. I dont feel that way, because I KNOW from the history of his org, it has always been flawed. Why? It is full of FLAWED people.
