Probably more than I think I do. My business is done online, with product orders sent to me, and processed in an online ordering system, so it's a lot of time.
Are you honest with yourself, about how much time you spend online?

Good question free2beme:What I was wondering though, are you honest about how much time you spend online or do you try to convince yourself that it is only a minute or two here and there? I wonder why we try to hide our online usage. Do we feel guilty or do we worry we will look pathetic? Anyway, how much time do you spend online ... honestly?
When I first started surfing the 'Net it was way back in '96 and it was replacing for me another "community" I was leaving (being the JW's), I really didn't feel guilty one bit about my time spent online nor do I now.
Guilt indicates you've done or are doing something bad/wrong and I don't consider surfing the 'Net as a bad or wrong thing in my life. I don't try to hide it nor do I feel like I look pathetic talking to my cyber friends. I belong to several forums and have traveled great distances to meet-up with some of the people I've met online. In fact I even met and married my husband onacruse from JWD. Time well spent IMHO.
I envision myself sitting on sandy beaches, with a winning Lottery ticket in my hand, tossing flowers and various mixed drinks on Kate's nekked body. LOLOL
Just show me the money baybeeee!
Oh and I probably spend on average 2 hours a day online in any given week.

Not as much as I'd like since I don't have my own computer.

That depends on what else is going on in my life. There's times when I'm hardly on the computer at all, and others that I spend way too much time online(which is more often than not). My business is home-based and online though, so it's too easy to say "Oh while I'm on here I'll go over to JWD and see if there's anything interesting". Then I find a thread that's five pages long and has a link to another site or thread thats ten pages long. I'll sit here and read the whole thing. It's a little addicting.
But then, I've found that I've entered a new part of my "recovery", if you will. Now, all of the research on the errors in the doctrine is really important to me. I'm in an information gathering phase, and it takes a long time, I'm having to write things down, look up scriptures and references, all that good stuff. I know one of these days I'm going to have to go toe-to-toe with my father, and I want to be prepared.

Depends, I work online every day. I would say I spend about 90 minutes average a day on line working on my review, playing my word games, answering and sending e-mails, and reading and posting on DBs besides my work time.
I spend less time watching TV now and getting ready to and going to WT meetings. So I consider my time online equivalent to the time once "devoted" to the WTS.

There were times in my life that I actually spent more time online then in life. I admit that, and see how easy it is to do and prevent myself from going that deep again. I enjoy being online though.
