thanks for the replies everyone.
I've met some of the kindest, loving, unselfish people on the outside of the org.
I continue to find the world a much better place than I was taught.I'm a better person, mother and wife now because I'm not weighted down with more than is humanly possible.I had nothing left to give to those who ment the most to me before.I hope others have had this positive experience and I hope others see that witnesses aren't the happiest people in the world after all.

ah whoops. i mistakenly thought you said the Creation book. the Creator book is at least a little more believable, the physics book is less of a non-sequitor then. and northern poland, the teacher was probably just hoping to save a zloty or two.

Right on, right on, right on!
My Mom sacrificed her marriage to Jehovah when I was seven, and she lived (still does) as a bitter, angry, mean and suspicious person with no room for ANY joy in her life.... in short, a perfect Witness for Jehovah, the angry god.
In early adulthood, once I began working, I began to experience a logical disconnect between her insane ranting about the "world" and the real world. Eventually, I chose reality. It's just so much more... REAL.

Howdy Max,
((((((((((((big hug to you, Big Max)))))))))))))))).
Sorry to hear about all the weight of suicides. Even when we don't know them well, it just seems a natural shake-up - something that shouldn't happen, or didn't have to happen.
