For the most part all the neighbors in my neighborhood keep to themselves and their respective relatives. I don’t associate with my neighbors for they have proven they don’t want me to ‘love them as I love myself’. However, I have felt for years that if everyone else in my neighborhood was a Jehovahs Witness I would not have to lock my doors or set any alarms and that is a very inspiring thought indeed.

So you feel like because they have rebuffed your manifestations of love for your neighbors that it's ok to give up on them? Is that what the Bible teaches?

And for your info. I haven't locked my doors or had any alarms installed in my house in over a year. If burglars want in, a lock or an alarm won't stop them. That was proven last week here in Buffalo where it took the police an hour to respond to an alarm call. None of my neighbors are JWs or even Christian from what I can tell. If they were JWs they would shun me instead of plowing my driveway, cutting my grass and giving me rides to the grocery store or post office.

Jason, you're fighting a losing battle here, son. Wouldn't you find it easier to go pray or something?
