Shut.up.Carmel - Btw, I was slightly fussin' at my husband for not straightening the pillows on the couch after getting up. He said (with due seriousness) "I wasn't sitting here - I was sittin' far yonder!" Which I laughingly replied: "Ain't so, fool! You was sittin' near yonder - here!" He flipped me off and left the room - pillows still messy.
And people have the gumption to make fun of the Southern "gentle way" of talking......
