    Sunny,
You are a real sister showing natural love for your sister.Never let anyone make you feel you should act differently.A truly loving God would never ask you to turn your back on her.
I've mentioned my experience in other threads but will do it again for you.
When my sister was disfellowshipped it devestated me!But trying to be a loyal witness I cut her off and would have nothing to do with her.
She was completly alone with no support system ,her life was a wreck!
She atempted suicide a few months later.Thankfully she survived. When the hospital asked her for the next of kin to contact she refused to give them my parents or me believing we didn't care.
We found out from a fellow work mate of hers that couldn't stand seeing her abandoned.
That was a turning point for me.I would never have forgiven myself if she had been successful.I knew this was not what God wants.
I've been there for her every since as you should for your sister.

    Sunny,

Should you wish to remain a part of this wacky organization for whatever reason, might I suggest going to the WBTS media site and printing their official policy on disfellowshipped ones?

It states "Df'ing does not sever family ties."

I believe it's at http://www.jw-media.org and you may want to make some copies for those busy bodies who call themselves "Spiritual Shephards," yes, the Elders.

    Welcome,
    Lisa

    Sunny,

I applaud you for following your conscience and continuing to show love for your sister, despite what a judgmental organization says you have to do.

To add to Lisa's post, the page containing the information about not severing family ties is http://www.jw-media.org/beliefs/beliefsfaq.htm
