Sitting @ my computer desk on my day off with a steaming cup of joe in lovely Vancouver, Washington checking the Columbia River fish counts over Bonneville Dam trying to decide where I'm going to go fishing today. I am right at this moment wrestling with the cat who loves to look at the screen while I type. We have a rare sunny fall day here on the shores of the Mighty Columbia. It would seem a shame to waste it inside. Those salmon and steelhead aren't going to catch themselves.

I'll be leaving in about 45 minutes. The sun is shining and I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do with the rest of my afternoon.

Just got home!
Picked up my this morning and went to breakfast. Then we stopped to visit other friends. Then I went to the bank to get money for next weeks trip. Then stopped to see another friend on my way home. Now I am sitting in front of my computer getting my JWD fix. Then I need to take a nap (us older folks do that) Then tonight.......I do my volunteer work from 6 PM until 11PM.
When that is done........I will come home and hug my pillow all night long and know that I have done GOOD today.

I'm sure I recall that original thread coffeeblack, but i don;t think i was participating on this board a year ago even tho i was a member.
I am in bed. I had a hospital appointment this morning and learnt that i will have to have surgery to remove the pins from legs in february and that I will be on crutches again for some time after that. Then I couldn't get a taxi from hospital to the station so i walked it on my crutches and it took nearly an hour on one of the coldest iciest days of this year so far. By the time I got to work I was exhausted and burst into tears in front of everyone. Thankfully they got the chaffeur to drive me home a couple of hours later.
I'm so upset that I'll probably only be off crutches for two months before i have to have another painful operation and hobble around on crutches again for further weeks.

I quit!
I just got back from the dentist. It is 80 outside and sunny so I can't complain. After reading Crumpets post any complaining I was planning on doing about my trip to the dentist was knock right out of me. I hope your day gets better Crumpet.
