Ozzie - as EVER - a FANTASTIC question!

Letters from readers. 'I CRIED when I read your letter 'HOW TO BAKE BREAD' (and im not kidding here - this was a REAL letter) I used to bake bread with my grandma, and I cried when blah blah blah'

Every fortnight someone cried over something, but this was the truly most trivial tear shed. Who are there tearful people? And how would they have coped in the Holocaust?

    1. ; The covers only if they were funny.

    2. ; The Letters in the Awake! Naw, they always sounded like brown-nosers to me.

    3. ; The 'Watching the World' in the Awake! No interest. They always picked lame stuff like, "Youths in Denmark show parents respect!"

    4. ; QFR I did read this but like the letters, they always came up with some very lame, very vague response. Hey, they're lawyers, being vague avoids responsibility! Duh...

    5. ; The study articles No. Figured I'd be beaten with those as soon as Sunday study came along. Why bother?

    6. ; The secondary articles What secondary articles?

    7. ; Anywhere there might be "new light" hiding! Light? You mean like the time the mags infered that if hubby wanted a little something extra in the bedroom, I should report him to the elders? When was that light anyhow? I don't remember, late 70's? Early 80's?

    8. ; The life stories Sometimes I read these if they were related to persecution. the others seemed made up and dull.

    9. ;Never did. N/A

    10. ; Other (do tell!) Never! I'll admit nothing!

    5.The study articles

I always thaught that was where the real meat was, then I'd look at them to find all the backwards reasoning they used to influence and control people.I still look at those articles when the wife brings the mags home just to see what controlling studies they're coming up with these days.

    10. Other

I'd see the cover an almost get physically ill. The thought of having to read it was awful. More work. I'd be so upset because I knew when I went to the meeting that if I couldn't answer the questions everyone would know that I hadn't partaken of my "spiritual food". I hated to read them, and yet, I thought they were "holy" are something. I would be afraid to throw them away. I literally had stacks of them. Ugh! Talk about a nightmare! Now, I don't have to look at them; and if my daughters happen to leave one here, I can throw it away without even thinking about it.

I always liked to look at the pictures first...

... only when I'd gone flacid for the 3rd time would I read the stories!!

Oh, I'm sorry... THOSE magasines !!!

I liked to look at the back cover, cos that meant I'd finished 'force reading' them !

    Bull!
