The day of the surgery I cancelled. I was convinced I was going to croak during the *procedure*. My oldest sister thought so too.

So, I have begun chelation therapy. Plus acupuncture. (Hey, it's covered by my insurance. It can't hurt, it might help) Now the surgeons want to cut open my neck to fuse a couple vertebra. Knife wielding maniacs, the entire lot of them.

I tried to logon as Nate Merit but couldn't.

Wow...I was really wondering how things went. Even called around some local hospitals since I thought you might live not too far from me. Sometimes those intuitions turn out to be correct, sometimes not. Hope whatever the problem is, it is resolved one way or another... I am personally quite skeptical of unproven medical claims, but I hope things do work out...

Hi Kiddotan!

It's good to 'meet' you. Have you been helped by accupuncture? My wife swears by it, but I have only had two treatments so far. One energized me, the other was relaxing.

The doctor is from Hong Kong where she was born, raised, and trained. That gives me confidence in her, a confidence I wouldn't have in an American practicing a Chinese healing art. Call me crazy, but...well, call me crazy!

Thanks for posting. Also for caring enough to call around. I live in Indio, which is about twenty miles southeast of Palm Springs. I'm bilious torpid and stupid today, a I always am after partaking of the Festive Foul.

My father was helped by chelation therapy, but not to the extent that he was able to ultimately avoid going under the knife.

I hope we hold a southern Cal apostafest soon.

I cannot convey how relieved I am not to be undergoing surgery. At least right away.
