    Brief hijack..

Biddie - at the bottom of a thread (where you would select 'Reply') there is a link to start a 'NewTopic'.

Realize though, that your new Topic/Thread will be placed under the same general category as the one you are reading.

For those few times when I have started Threads, I have gone to the main JWD page and first selected a thread under the category that I want mine to appear under.

    I hope that helps.

Back to the thread, already in progress...

    -Aude.

Thanks for the welcome.(AArrrrggghhhhh I'm getting love bombed by the apostates!!) Actually biddie this isn't a new thing for me,it's just moved into the conscious realm now and I've just decided to acknowledge it.I hope that made a bit of sense. The last time I stepped into a KH was when my mother died about 7 years ago.I haven't been to a meeting for about 10 years. I have spent the last 12 years in and out of hospital with depression.Despite my greatest efforts I was never good enough for the organization, never enough FS,study ,prayer.Add that to low self esteem and you are trapped. Unless.....

Great post, I think Part 6 of the latest elders school clears it up. Associating with the UN would be classified as uncleaness, not confessing or being repentant makes it 'with greediness'. You are right they should be disfellowshipped.

And about the suits, any door to door sales man would be glad to take them off your hands.

(In one of the last talks i ever did went into great detail on the similarity of the principles of being a salesman and the guidelines in the reasoning book. For some reason it offended a couple of people in the audience)

Are you going to send them a letter, and give them a chance to appeal the decision? I love the idea of informing them that they have been disfellowshipped.

Maybe I will send one to my old congregation!!!

    Welcome Big Mouth

Here is where you will find more truths and love than you have ever experienced before. Very well done for standing up for principles. We did the same three years ago on the same subject, but then took a whole year to find out much much more about the Organisation, but of course NOT USING ANY OF THEIR MATERIAL to research and verify.

We too feel that by their own actions they have disfellowshipped themselves.

But do they realise that those staying in the Organisation have in fact put Jehovah on the same side as the Scarlet coloured wild beast of Revelation. Surely this point in particular should affect their conscience more than any other personal feelings.

PS. May I take this opportunity to also apologise unconditionally (as you have done) to all those living in my area, for a total waste of their time (during field service)

Hi Big Mouth, and welcome to the board. I left the wt recently as well, isn't it great to have your freedom back.

As for the suits, well I 'd keep one or two, you might get invited to a wedding sometime.
