Thanks everyone so very much for all the support and the info. I will try to call her today (if she'll take my call) I dont think the "committee" knows yet...my dad is in his 70"s and is lucky if he remembers to call me with news. I am sure they have moles in the hospital though...

    Thanks again !

The only specific advice I'd ignore from your mom is....go visit her! You deserve to hold her hand and tell her you'll miss her and that you love her. Scully's advice is great.

Don't give up.......my uncle had a bleeding ulcer and his hemoglobin dropped to 35, because he wouldn't take a blood transfusion .....they gave him the EPO and it did the trick----he fully recovered.

    Rwagoner,

Sorry about what's happening. As you know, I'm just south of you here. Anything that I can do, let me know. PM me if you want a number where we can talk.

    Thanks again everyone -

Skully and others - I called mom this morning early and worked the info you gave me into the brief conversation...tried to make it sound like old news...like I knew what I was talking about...she was aware of some but not all of the options and asked how I knew...so I told her about the wonderful apostate family that I have that all care about her more than the "friends" at the KH. She actually asked for a copy of the info so I printed the post and all of your supportive comments and took it to her. It made her cry...maybe another little wedge in the door...

As of tonight the mystery bleeding has stopped...we'll see what happens next.

So thank you my friends...it means a great deal to me.

    Hey (((((RW))))

Sorry to hear about your Mom. Hope she continues to get better, and I hope that her seeing how much people care DOES make her think about everything. It has been so many years since I have seen your parents, but I can still picture them both and their house like it was yesterday. I'm glad you went up to see her, and she probably is too.
