JH, you seem like a pretty nice fellow and you most likely have evolved quite a bit from the person you were 15 years ago -- you probably wouldn't make the same decision if faced with that situation now, hey?
Wow, that was mean JH. I was always keeping my hubby waiting after an assembly , the time just goes so quick after its finished !!!!!
The meanest thing ive done is stopped all contact with my last congregation that I was in for 15 years, cos I wanted to make a clean break, im not DFs or DAs they must why.

Thinking about what I have done... All I can come up with is one time after the TMS and KM meetings an old batty elders wife sister accosted me and my brother. She had got it in her head that we were playing prank suicide calls to people in the congregation. Now everyone knew the old dear was a nutbag. We told her we knew nothing of it but she persisted and persisted. Eventually we were cracking up laughing. She got really upset. Determined to believe that we were the culprits and frustrated and angry when we wouldn't confess to the crime.
I met a worldly girl in the door to door and help convert her into a JW, mow thats mean. She ended up getting d/f, so was screwed over twice because of me.

I don't think you were mean, she was unreasonable.
If I was to start over again, I'd be more harsh with her by saying, "YOU SIT WITH ME" !!!!!
Like that I wouldn't have had to wait and look for her all around that huge stadium for nearly an hour after most people were gone !!!
How can you let a person just sit anywhere in 50,000 seat stadium and not know where they are?
She was unreasonable and I was bold to leave here there.
I regret not only leaving her there, but I regret mostly, not being direct enough by telling her to sit next to me, or somewhere I knew I would find her.
To be honest I think I'd be a little insulted and feel a bit used, to drive someone all that way and them to not even have the manners to sit with you.
