I did a search on on Matthew 28:16-20
here's what it says.
16 However, the eleven disciples went into Gal´i·lee to the mountain where Jesus had arranged for them, 17 and when they saw him they did obeisance, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU . And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

corproal--- You are sounding like a catholic . The WTBTS uses the word emblems because they believe the ritual is symbolic , the wine and bread do not become literal flesh and blood in some sort of transmutation . I assume the title of kingdom hall was derived from the belief that they are in some way preserving people for the kingdom of the heavens . Not sure on that one . Never asked .
"they seem to be the only religion that tries to make sense out of all that"
This is a distinct feature of the WT Society. They pride themselves in explaining the ENTIRE Bible. The only thing they admit they don't know is what the Bible does not "elaborate" on.
daniel-p ---- It would seem that they use alot of dogma , so once you convince people you have some sort of insight that others are lacking you don't really need to prove what you are saying is a fact . They did kinda lose me on that 2300 days then say a prophetic year is still 360 days . I mean jeeze isn't 2300 days 2300 days the same as then and now ? Then they claim an assembly about organization is proof ? I mean jeeze that's a little hard to put down .
Actually I am not a catholic.I see many similarities between JW's and Catholics, both teach that no one can understand the Bible without their help.I just have a hard time swallowing the watch towers line of reasoning especially considering what hypocrites they are.
An example is them constantly referring to elders as being imperfect men but yet in the same breath being quick to disfellowship a weak brother or sister.

corpoal --- I started out as a catholic myself and there is no way I believe that crap . To actually drink human blood would have been against mosaic law . It's clear it's symbolic to me . I think the catholic church is very messed up in it's beliefs .
