Oh, LittleToe, you delicious gadfly, you!
My question remains – what goddess-fearing pagan would get involved in such a Christian-tainted celebration?
It all turns on that adjective, "goddess-fearing". We pagans don't fear the goddess, and the goddess fears nothing – least of all "contamination". She's not a purist, like the Jews and their God are. (See, she doens't even insist on a capital letter, like He does.)

Semantics, adjectives, for goodness sakes, surely I'm not going to get pulled up for my grammar!!! It's surely a simple enough question?

Gina considers herself a pagan, and she enjoys Christmas. In her heart of hearts, she's really celebrating winter solstice, but she does it with a tree, wreaths, little Santa statues, the whole shmeer. She even tells people, "Merry Christmas!" The only part she doesn't subscribe to is the Nativity Scene/Jesus angle. But she's all-systems-go with the rest of it.

What is this, argumentation by proxy???
Anyhow, get back in your own thread, unless you're claiming to be a Pagan Atheist

Be nice or I'll say something bad (or good) about the "Big News" and your thread's original topic will be lost forever!

Lol.....That's what I called myself last week! Now you got me, Ross.
Does this mean I'm not a "true athiest"?
I still don't believe in any gods.

Of course it is. Ever since the first one. What, after all, were the Magi?
