I know, I know, I know, that you just can't take one society's values and impose them on another, and that the 'age of consent' historically has been much lower in Europe, child marriages and all.
But some of that stuff is just disgusting. Well, actually, all of it is pretty disgusting with occasional lurches into the mildly hysterical;

Years ago, in Raleigh, North Carolina, when I came into the Truth(tm), there was an native old timer, who was 2nd generation Kultist, and his mama was a friend of Pastor Russell, who came to Raleigh several times at the turn of the century, along with Der Bible Students, to give talks in various Raleigh auditoriums... and The Jellyfish floated around Raleigh like he did everywhere else... and I always thought this old timer in the Kingdom Hall I attended, was the Spitting Image of ol' Pastor Russell... and thought what a coincidence- his first and middle names were 'Charles' and 'Russell'...
and I'm looking back on it now from a New Perspective... and thinking "Now, Don't That Beat All!"
