  Yes, Didier, I love this man's theology (being as close as it is to my own) and can't thank you enough for pointing me in his direction.

  I now have an English translation of "Dogmatics in Outline" and "The Epistle to the Romans", and continue to seek "Church Dogmatics", though I expect it's going to set me back a penny or two!

Doctrines like the trinity and the incarnation are speculative and not really important, and in the face of science and philosophy the surest way we can be certain about God is by our inner awareness of him. Discipleship is expressed by good moral behaviour, but inward religious feeling is most important.
