I wouldn't worry I dont think the Watchtower is going to bother going after ones who view such web sites. They won't win this war on the net though, they are far outnumbers and are foolish to underestimate the power it has.

if I understand your real question correctly, you are not committing any crime or wrongful act by trying to access the Quotes website so no lawyers will be coming after you even if the Society did obtain your IP address.

It is also unlikely, in case you were wondering, that they would send elders after you either.

Finally, your IP address may or may not tell who you actually are depending on your connection to the Net. Most likely it doesn't and to actually obtain that information the Society would have to get it from your Internet service provider using legal process, which you would know about before hand.

Yes, the society can definitely get your ip address, but what good would that do them? If you are using dial-up your ip address changes everytime. Router's do not carry personal information about you and the society cannot receive information from your ISP providers.

Yes, you are being WAY too paranoid. Along with quotes, the society is not the brightest bulb on the tree. http://www.davidgladden.com/jw/quotes/ http://www.reexamine.org/quotes/

I'm not sure that it is precisely correct to say that the Quotes site has been transferred to the WTS.

It's not like Mr. Quotes is going to continue to pay for the site and the WTS will do whatever they want with it.

More likely Mr. Quotes will terminate his agreement with the ISP who hosted the site. What the WTS now owns is the rights to the DOMAIN NAME.

    Correct me if I'm wrong...
