All of this the end of this system of tings is coming soon and the supposedly decease in the number of anointed relates to 1914 which was a fictitious date only significant to the WTS. in its self promoting of itself and their self supporting identity.
Is it just an odd occurrence that the hundreds of various Christian denominations never came up with the 1914 doctrine ?

Ok, I just got off the phone with my brother whom is an elder and called my mother, they have never heard of this

Great discussion and personal comments. I know so many elderly ones 80+ that have gone through all this nonsense, sacrificing everything for the WTS and they are still unwavering in their conviction that this must be the Truth. How Sad.
The newer crops of Millennials today are not as gullible and will not be as easily swayed. (Internet is readily available) Many of the teenagers today are not as willing to throw away their youth and future so quickly.

baldeagle, while many Millennials are different than other generations in the past due technology, they are still human, and such there will be a group that would still believe WT bs. They will sacrifice their life for it and many would believe that the older generations were wrong and they are right because they have better understanding from the Channel of God's communication. Certainly the WT would be transformed once the millennials will achieve their intellectual and social apex in 25-35 years, but still, human stupidity does not have a limit. -

Miles, ask your brother the elder if he knows about the 6000 year dating calculation that the WTS used twice, once in the early 1900's and again 60 year later in the 1960's . So raveled up in their bullshit that the WTS even stated October of 1975 .
This kind of meat in due season has got lying corruption spread all over it.
Unfortunately its marketable and sells.

The hook that keeps these suckers plopping right back into the muck that masquerades as "spiritual food in due season" is the question which reveals their arrested devrlopment:
"Where else shall we go?".
My dear little elderly honeys, if you gotta ask that question, you're hopeless cases dying to be anesthetized.

And this one from 52:30 onwards. (Also a talk from 1972):
http://www.centralprint.net/jwtalks/SpecialTalks/Kite%20Floyd%20-%20Are%20You%20Marked%20for%20Survival.mp3"Let me assure you of this, there are a dozen inexorable forces at work right now that are converging together, inside of this decade, that will spell disaster for this system of things, and there is nothing that no human can do to prevent it. If you've been waiting, I'd say this is time to act."
And then more jibberish about the generation.

disposable hero of hypocrisy
These talks and quotes are a great resource for if the allegation is ever made "we never specifically said the end would come in 1975." Yeh you might not have specifically said that but you sure as hell hyped it up to give that impression.
Thing is, I know the response. Oh those INDIVIDUALS might have implied it in their zeal, but surely it's better to be overzealous than lacking?
