With all the responses about the 2005 service report showing a loss in many areas, I was thinking about the Angels that the Watchtower teaches about, on how they are out in the field service with the preachers of the good news.

I guess from the report that even the Angels have given up working in the door to door work, field service etc. When was the last time the Watchtower printed anything on the support of the Angels out in the field service?

The angels are all hanging out at that big donut shop in the sky.

The WTS does jam it in from time to time. I remembered this from a review.

Do angels help Jehovah’s present-day servants? Yes, they do. Granted, today they do not appear visibly in order to deliver true worshipers from danger. Even in Bible times, angels only rarely intervened in such a way. Most of what they did was invisible to human eyes, as is the case today. Nonetheless, servants of God who realized that the angels were there to support them found such knowledge very encouraging. (2 Kings 6:14-17) We have good reason to feel similarly.

Jehovah’s angels are particularly interested in a special work that involves us. What work is that? We can find the answer at Revelation 14:6: "I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had everlasting good news to declare as glad tidings to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people." This "everlasting good news" is clearly linked with the "good news of the kingdom," which, as Jesus foretold, "will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations" before the end of this system of things. (Matthew 24:14) Of course, the angels are not preaching directly. Jesus gave humans this weighty commission. (Matthew 28:19, 20) Is it not good to know that as we fulfill that commission, we have help from holy angels, wise and powerful spirit creatures?

There is considerable evidence of angelic support for our work. For example, we often hear that in the course of their ministry, Jehovah’s Witnesses come across a person who had only recently prayed to God for help in finding the truth. Such experiences occur far too often to be dismissed as mere coincidences. As a result of such angelic help, more and more people are learning to do as the "angel flying in midheaven" proclaimed: "Fear God and give him glory."—Revelation 14:7.

Do you long to have the support of Jehovah’s mighty angels? Then do all you can to be absorbed in your ministry. (1 Corinthians 15:58) As we freely give of ourselves in this special assignment from Jehovah, we can count on the help of his angels.

Most likely the angels guiding them are angels of satan transformed into workers of righteousness, just as the FDS are.

I can't imagine god's angels wanting to bring people in this diabolical religion.

This is an incredibly stupid statement. But many people claim that they were praying for spiritual help when they saw a preacher on television or they were walking by a church and then their life changed. No big deal. The fact that it happens to some people who were contacted by JW's is just that, a simple coincidence.

Hey Gary1914, that was in a WT study article less than a year ago. Makes you feel like you sleep through the meetings when you read it again with a different viewpoint.

They ain't givin up......there losin against ol' Satan and his demunz.

When the demunz turned into demunz......Jehovah didn't take any of their physical power away and so they are as strong as a good angel. Satan only took a third with him and that leaves two thirds more good angels than bad angels so you'd think the good ones would win.

The other two thirds of the good angels ain't "messenger" angels cuz somes are Cherubs and somes are Seraphs and they do other stuff and ain't allowed to come here in the prechin work and they make up about a third ya sees.

Since the one third good angels are the preaching helper kind and are wusses with white wings, and demunz are big hairy strong guys that fight dirty and stuff....they kick the preachin angels arses all the time and slow down the savin work......... Hope this helps.

Blueblades.....I guess the society doesn't feel the Holy Spirit can get the job done without the help of angels eh? I remember the article that showed an angel above a couple of brothers in the preaching work pointing to a house as if to say...."hey, over here! ....there's a sheep in that house!"

I guess the angels simply follow the publishers from the hall to the territory eh? Do you suppose they also sit with the publishers when they go on a donut break? How exactly do they point publishers to a sheeps house? Do they whisper, or do they "influence" your thinking? Can angels actually influence your thinking like that.....or is only god able to do so?
