he sounds like a senseble man.conducts the watchtower then posts on here.whats the point in that?but i surpose you could say im posting here and going to the meetings the diffrence is i dont agree with any of you.weather people were ministeral servats elders.doesnt matter to me.to me that doesnt mesure there spirtualty.they could just be doing for all the wrong reasons only God can jusdge hearts thou.i no many brothers who have asked simaler questions to the ones you have about the gentile times.and many others but they stuck with what they beleave is jahs organtion.people falling away from te truth then saying its all wrong is to be exspected.nothing is perfect.weather the wittnesses have the truth or not all deapends on what one wants to beleave.if you become some one who leaves and talks against there is no other opsion but to tottaly go against.its ovious your not going to agree that would be stupid

i feel bad, no need to pounce on him because of his spelling guys, there are plenty of very good arguements that you can and are bringing up, PMJ i suggest you tell the elders you were on an apostate site, see what happens

it never said this was aposatate site when i joined up it just said jehovahs wittness discussion forum.if im wrong please point me to were it says its apostate website.now if your apostate and join thats your choise i guess.thanks for understanding about my spelling you seem like a nice kinda guy

It honestly does seem that way sometimes. But how true is that, really? I mean, if it really was strictly a matter of faith without evidence, then why study? Why would the Bible tell us to "make sure of all things and hold fast to what is fine" if there was no standard to judge "fine things" by?

So you have a situation where some loved Jehovah enough to rise through the ranks and become elders, that later decided "the truth" wasn't true after all. Why? Some of these have gone on to live moral lives, some even continue to shun holidays and blood.

What do you think could motivate a person to leave the Watchtower, despite knowing they would be shunned by all their loved ones?

(BTW, the watchtower conductor I mentioned was trapped. If he stepped down as an elder, it would've raised red flags in his congregation. He stuck it out, and slowly reduced his activity in the congregation. The process is called "fading", an attempt to leave without getting outright shunned. I don't believe it worked in his case. Nor did it work in mine. But others have pulled it off.)

Now you know PMJ that any site other than the official wt site (www.watchtower.org) is considered to be an apostate site by the society. Shame on you! Josie

Maybe it didn't say that PMJ, but at least 2 things should be obvious to you by now:

1. There are many on this site who fit the wts definition of apostate

2. Almost all of us are ex jws, either disfellowshipped, disassociated or faders who will eventually leave officially

Being aware of that, as you must be by now, just why are you still here? I doubt your local BOE would be pleased if they knew you were.

By the way, I am disassociated, so you should be shunning me
