Thanks, Maximus. Point taken. A courageous and gargantuan undertaking for anyone among JWs but a historically unprecedented one for a sister. Ironic in this organization --"sometimes the best man for the job is a woman". I certainly would not want anything to cause this to be more difficult for our sister and brother than it must already be. In time, it now seems, all will be revealed to any who wish to know.

Lol. Familiar with it? Many years ago, it was my voice coyly beseeching: "Turn this way, my lord, turn this way to me. Do not be afraid." on an audio cassette dramatization of this account in Judges (recorded for a DC talk my husband had). What a memory. Thanks for conjuring it.

Hey Maximus,

Yeah.........I remember a woman named Jael. Of course, the significance is different in different times.

But she was lauded by the WTBTS (as shown by the drama quoted) as a woman fighting in honor - the way she knew how. If Jael had confronted the General too soon - or when he was alert to danger, then she might have lost the advantage of surprise.

And what a surprise a tentpin in the temple woulde be, eh? Of course, Sisera wouldn't have been surprised 'cause he never saw it comin'. And by then, it was waaaay too late.

Kinda like the WT, eh?

And, thank you, Maximus, for the compliment. I remember your kind help during that web experience also.

What a shame that the WTBTS has lost some of it's finest people, but a blessing for those who wish freedom and a semblance of peace.

Hi all, I have just gotten back onto my computer tonight after 8 days in the Bahama's, and am just reading a lot of the skuttlebut about Barb Anderson. I am so happy to hear all this. I know Barbara and met with her and Bill last winter in NYC to discuss the future pieces they wanted to do regarding exposing the Watchtower Society. Back then it seemed to good to be true. But the reality of all of this is coming along nicely. It is mind bogling the kowledge she has about the Dark Tower. I am just so happy it is coming out. Thier lawlessness is getting reaveled. You go Barb.

Does Barbara actually have proof (i.e., a paper trail) which exposes the WTS as covering up pedophilia? If so, do we have to wait until Dateline airs before we get to see it?
