Trust me on this one, I started with GT1 & 2. If you enjoy driving games, the last two installments will absolutely blow your doors off. The realism in these last 2 games, from the graphics to the cars themselves and how they handle can in no way be compared with GT1 & 2.
The gritty, grainy early video game look has been totally replaced by such realism, when you get your first look at the cars and how they handle with such authenticity on the tracks, especially during replays, you will wonder how on earth did anyone put so much into this game. It's the closest thing to sitting behind the wheel of your own car. You will not be disappointed. Buy it, and if you're not absolutely astonished as to how great a game / driving simulator it is, I'll buy it back from you.
I'm a college student, so i've got to play lots and lots of vid games.
I'm into RPG's, Adventure games, Shooters and Simulation games.
Never really was into racing, sports or fighting games.
I'm a Halo dork. Also dig Star Wars Battlefront.
Star Wars Battlefront online (XBOX) is the greatest. I'm also a Halo 'dork'...lol. All of the Medal of Honor games, the GTA games.
My all time favorite game though is Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction. I can't get into anything new because I can't stop playing it. If you haven't played it - GO TRY IT!
I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE halo i was so hooked on 1 and 2 cant wait for 3.
My hubby works for Atari so thats pretty cool, they did Transformers and many others

I can't seem to get into any other games besides Halo and Battlefront. They are just too damn fun! I love halo because I can take out all my frustrations on others. It's great when your on a tiny map with alot of other players. Pure carnage.
You guys should totally check out a new game called "Fear" for PC. It's a first person shooter, and its the most frightening game Ive ever played (including Doom 3). You'll need a high end graphics card though.

Oh Snap, Its Hibiscuitfire!!!!
My boyfriend's absolutely hoocked on PC games. He used to work for EA as a tester so he's played quite a few - I've heard him talking about Fear, he really liked it. He's heavily into the on-line games though - he tends to play quite late into the night when all the US chaps and chapesses start playing - he's really into Eve, Star Wars Galaxies and another one that I can't remember.
I prefer tetris myself (or the Formula 1 driving games of course).
