Congratulations! I'm hoping to move there or at the least own property in that area by the end of the year...all depends on how many people want Satellite TV!

Moving is one of the most stressful things in life, but I think staying where you were would definitely cause even more stress.
I hope you will truly enjoy your new place, and also come to embrace the whole adventure that you have suddenly inherited with all your freedom. Life really is an adventure, just as we secretly hoped...

Sitting here in my new place and drinking some morning coffee and waiting for ITIS to get back from his second trip of getting all our stuff from our old place. I would love to call a friend to go have breakfast or coffee with this morning but don't know anyone here yet so I figured I'd chat back at you guys this morning...

yes! yes! I love it. I was walking downtown yesterday and I was kind of feeling sad how alone I felt there, not knowing anyone. then it occured to me how clean the slate was, not knowing anyone. REBORN BABY! and I felt exhilirated at that.
Dave - I haven't ever told you, but I really enjoy your posts and thoughts. you seem like a pretty cool dude in my book. by the way, my kids love your avatar pic!

bebu - yes, moving is stressful, but this move hasn't stressed me out that bad. funny, that kind of stuff used to put me in a tail spin. a lot of things seem to roll off my back now a days. life is way too serious, and needs to be enjoyed and savored IMO. glad you liked my poem....

funny how I keep comparing this move to other moves I've made in my life. I would move before, because I knew I could rebuild my social structure at the KH. Now, I don't know anyone here, and I miss having a friend to call and hang with, but I don't miss the JW social structure at all. I look forward to all the new people I will meet. I get to hand pick friends now. not have a limited choice of who I welcome into my new life. and those people will be my friends for me. not because I'm "zealous" or "spiritually encouraging" to be with.
so, we'll keep you up to date on the happenings here. I'm getting ITIS to take me to get my new piercing done hopefully this week. maybe a pic will be in order???

Hi mis-
my navel first. have to go back for my JW brother's wedding in 8 weeks so I need to be able to hide my piercing while I'm there. after that I don't have a need to go back home for awhile so my nose will be next, and at least one tattoo....
can't wait!!
