It's so awful for those who die/get hurt or get seperated from family and friends (neighbour's aunt and uncle went with family the other year and the elderly mother got seperated from the group for about 36 hours and no-one knew if she was alive or dead). But yeah, I suppose they die happy and their families get some comfort from it... :\
If it's not a stampede it's fires ripping through tent accomodation. I know it's an incredible amount of people who go, but you'd think there'd be better stewarding - especially given the fact there's *stones* being chucked about as a matter of ritual.
What ridiculous and reckless things people do to make their invisible sky-daddy happy.
