My biggest turn on is a man that makes me feel safe and secure. Someone who is concerned about my feelings. Also, I love tall men, but I'll take safe and secure over that.

the first thing that would get my attention after, of course the obvious appreciation for a good lookin' dude or dudette, would be whether the person had a depth to them at all and could talk about current events, as well as dabble in science and pyschology and the study of the metaphysical aspects in life. I personally find very necessary a profound curiosity in archeological, historical and spiritual subjects. A delicious sense of humor is also very necessary. I love being able to talk with my BF as we watch programs on the Discovery Channel, or the History Channel...........sometimes we even watch HGTV together.......but, he LOVES working outside, puttering around in a garden........last summer, he made the most beautiful rock edged flower garden..........then, we both worked on a problem area we have: the water comes off the third floor apartment roof and straight down under our living room window...........it splashes mud, etc on the building, as well as being a mostly damp spot most of the summer because sun never penetrates that area fully.......anyways, we laid some nice reddish stone down, then I put a shallow terracotta dish down and filled it with water, and lastly, I sprinkled handsful of glass stones in every color, including irridescent..........and jabbed the dragonfly garden ornament deep into the soil under the stones......et voila! Sorry, I got a bit off topic there..........unattractive characteristics would be a callousness for human and animal, vegetable, and mineral LIFE and the precious planet we live on. Lack of a sense of humor or imagination. Ugliness of the soul/spirit in any way.

Attractive: Intelligence, confidence, good sense of humor, good manners, cares about others, blue eyes, blonde hair, tall

Unattractive: Stupidity, no ambition, insecurity, conceitedness, rudeness, being showy with money, bad manners, body odors, clingy guys

I would date an unattractive guy with brains and a good personality before I would date a good-looking guy who was rude and conceited.

My man doesn't have to be handsome, he just has to be tall, look good in his clothes, and make me feel good! Yeah!

There is instant attraction, which is often the clothing and the looks. I just find that those will get you as far as to speak to the person and then once that mouth opens, you either go up or down from there. Often, when I have spoke to attractive people by advertising standards, I see them as pigs in slop before I walk away from their conversation.

So you're into happy trails then! LOL.

For me the biggest thing is putting your best foot forward. No talking about your medical problems, money difficulties, or personal traumas on the first date. No showing up without being meticulously clean, neat, and groomed from head to toe. Doing that says you think It's not worth the effort.
