Does the cong.secretary get extra brownie points for keeping everyone as reg. publishers ? For yrs. my husband faked his hours. Once when the secretary called to get his hours, he wasn't home, so the brother wanted me to tell him what I thought he may have gotten.I told him," honestly I don't think he got any time in this month ",but the brother wouldn't accept that answer ,and said' oh I'm sure he got at least an hour in', so I said ,"Okay whatever you say !". After that I figured what works for the goose works for the gander ,and stopped knocking myself out to get those real hours in and went to pretend hours also.
HOW MANY OF YOU REPORTED FAKE HOURS LAST YEAR?

ooh, ooh, I did and so did some others I know about, you see it doesn't matter either way, they want time reported, well their gonna get it, I bet there are many pioneers that do this anyway, cause it really doesn't matter!

the secretary is under pressure a couple of times a year to get the record cards in order - the month/weeks before the CO visit. During this time leading up to the visit the secretary and bookstudy overseers will scramble to get with irregular publishers. Again, I know a couple of secretaries that would make assumptions that So-and-so went out in service and put some time on their card even though they didn't report for a particular month.

I never did until one day the secretary called and kept baggering me about hours and since I had four kids at home I must have some hours, " would 5 hours seem right?" After I agreed with him and the thought entered my mind, You know no one is interested in serving the congregation ( which most of my family's time was wrapped up in helping this one and that one having the single sisters over with their kids to play with ours, ) all they want is hours; therefore, I started handing in fake hours.
By the time I left I was so discussed with the field service asspect of the religion that I could vomit, all based on phony elders and the phony hours they all put in.Even during the era when I went out regular I never made national average, and I very seldom saw some of the elders that had above hours, so go figure. The entire religion is just a mirage and smoke and mirrors.

I used to fake illness alot on Saturdays, and near the end of the month my parents would panic to get something on my report slip. They'd say, "Surely you must have witnessed to some kids at school, RIGHT?" If I muttered no, I hadn't, they'd quick whip the car into a laundromat parking lot and push me out to drop a stack o' magazine doo-doo on the folding counters so I could count an hour! We couldn't have an elder's child (swooning in shock) IRREGULAR!

My entire life! Every month i would fudge at least a little. That's one of the reasons i think that i have never really believed in God. I have never felt accountable to him/her.

I did on and off for about 10 years. I didnt go crazy with it, but on months that I didnt go out, Id throw 1 or 2 hours on a slip just to avoid hearing about it.

every month, i go out 1-2 times a month, and amazingly i get about 10 hours, 8-10 mags, 2 rvs per month. i'll never report a bible study because i'd rather kill myself than even suggest i conduct one.(just kidding...i think) i vary the reports so as too look normal.

Hmm... I guess about 50-70 hours were FAKE for last year. Did I lie? Yes. Do I regret lying? Not a bit. Is it wrong? I don't care.
